I’m A Celebrity South Africa’s first star to get the boot has been ‘revealed’ by the bookies – and it’s bad news for Gemma Collins.

The spin-off ITV show – hosted by Ant and Dec – returns to screens next week and will see several famous faces rough it up in the jungle. As for Gemma, she will join as a latecomer alongside Harry Redknapp, Craig Charles and Jimmy Bullard.

But according to the bookies, she is being tipped to be the first star to get the boot…

Gemma Collins on I’m A Celebrity

Gemma first appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2014, alongside the likes of Jake Quickenden, Melanie Sykes and winner Carl Fogarty.

However, struggling to cope with the conditions, and after having pain attacks, Gemma lasted just three days before quitting.

After her jungle departure, Gemma was ridiculed online, with the TV star later admitting the reception to her exit left her humiliated.

She told the Everything I Know About Me podcast: “[There was] all the embarrassment of like, you know what the TV programmes were saying, ‘Gemma Collins left the jungle, she was hungry, she was this.’  And it wasn’t my fault.

“I can remember laying in my flat where I lived and just thinking I just want to die. I haven’t done nothing wrong. I’ve left the jungle because of something that happened to me.”

Gemma ‘regrets’ quitting I’m A Celeb in 2014

What’s more, TV favourite has since admitted quitting the show back in 2014 was her “biggest regret”. She also said that “it’s been a dark cloud hanging over me for 12 years”.

Gemma recently said: “I thought whatever happens to me in my life, I must go back into that jungle. It was one regret I had. I was bricking it, I was petrified, but you know what? I took a deep breath, I went in strong, and to be honest, I think I shut it down.

“It’s not the GC in there, it’s Gemma Collins, as you’ve never seen her before.

But the latest odds from Betway, suggest Gemma’s time on the show could be short-lived yet again…

Gemma tipped to leave first

Gemma has been tipped at 4/1 to be the first celeb to get the boot from I’m A Celebrity All Stars. Unlike the original series, campmates are not voted out by the public. Instead, the All Stars vote for their fellow co-stars.

As for her chances of being crowned the champ, she has odds of 16/1.

Speaking on the latest markets, Betway spokesperson Lewis Knowles said: “While many I’m a Celeb fans are looking forward to the return of the GC on their screens, her upcoming jungle stint is also looking to be short-lived.

“She is currently priced at 4/1 to be the first star booted off by her fellow campmates.

“While it’s looking unlikely that we will see Gemma be crowned the next queen of the jungle, she is at least tipped to land herself a new personal best when it comes to surviving in the wild!”
