Katie Price shares emotional tribute to 'my prince' Peter Andre in tell-all new documentary

Katie Price reflects on Peter Andre in a new Sky documentary

Katie Price’s romance with Peter Andre sits at the heart of Katie Price’s new Sky documentary, Katie Price Nothing To Hide.

In a clip of footage, Katie looked back on the romance that changed her life.

She even said that meeting Peter was the “best time in her life”.

Why Katie Price talked about Peter Andre

Katie revisited the moment she met Peter Andre in the I’m A Celebrity jungle. She said that meeting him was the “best time in her life”.

Director Paddy Wivell also handed her an iPad where Katie watched footage of the pair in the Australian camp in 2004. She looked back on how they met and started flirting.

The clip appeared to stir up old feelings. Katie said: “If I like someone like I liked him, I go all shy. I can’t look at them, and I go all like giddy.”

She added: “It’s pathetic, but that’s what I was like. You could see we were into each other and it is so cute to look at.”

She said: “By the end of it I was smitten with him. Meeting Pete and being with Pete were the best times of my life, without a doubt. I had my prince, I knew I would be with him forever.”

The jungle moment she cannot forget

According to Daily Star, Katie reflected on 30 years in the spotlight in the Sky TV series. The programme gave her room to revisit one of showbiz’s most talked-about romances.

The former couple, who were married from 2005 until 2009, have spent years at the centre of a very public feud. However, earlier this year they announced they had reached a mutual agreement to move forward positively and stop speaking negatively about each other.

The latest sign that relations have improved came when Peter shared a touching Instagram tribute to celebrate son Junior’s 21st birthday.

Posting a series of photos, Peter wrote: “Junior, I tell you every day, but some things can never be said too often. I am so incredibly proud of you and the young man you have become.”

Among the many messages was one from Katie, who simply commented: “We made a gorgeous boy together,” followed by a heart emoji.

While many fans welcomed the sweet exchange, one social media user replied to Katie: “Yes but it was Peter & Emily who made the man he is today.”

The remark quickly prompted others to leap to Katie’s defence.

One fan responded: “There’s no need for this, it’s Junior’s special day. Leave the negativity out for once.”

Another wrote: “Try making nicer comments, it will make you a nicer person.”

Others agreed with Katie’s sentiment, with one commenting: “You certainly did… a credit to you both and Princess.”

Katie and Peter share two children together, Junior and Princess. Their recent public interactions suggest the pair are continuing to put their differences aside as they focus on co-parenting and supporting their family.

Junior and Princess’s reaction

Elsewhere, Katie has also discussed Junior and Princess’s thoughts on the documentary.

She explained that they are yet to see it.

Katie said: “Junior and Princess haven’t watched the documentary yet. But I’ll let them. They know bits. Junior did say, ‘Mum, there’s nothing in there that’s gonna embarrass me, is there?’

“So I’m like: ‘Of course there won’t be!’ Hopefully, they will be entertained. And they will think: ‘You haven’t changed, you are still the same and have the same attitude.’ I think things will make sense to them. They know I had a breakdown, but it might explain why I might not have always been the mum they wanted. I have hurt people in the past. Not on purpose, but I apologise for that. They might also learn why I have this issue with men.”

“But I’m happy to talk with them, it doesn’t bother me. It’s part of my life. Men have taken advantage of me from a young age and I carry that trauma. So now it’s like: ‘You can look, but you can’t touch me,'” she told The Sun.
