‘You’d think he killed someone!’ Mafs Australia fans perform huge u-turn on ‘main character’ Alissa after ‘unnecessary’ drama with husband David
Alissa got very annoyed at DavidMAFS Australia fans have been left shocked by the random drama between Alissa and David – but what caused the fallout?
Throughout the entire experiment, Alissa has been talked about negatively by quite a few participants. From the very start, Brook took swipe at her, and from there, both Gia and Bec have been extremely hurtful.
However, during Feedback Week, Alissa gave David some instructions before he headed out. And when he got back, she wasn’t amused at his conversation with Bec.
Why was Alissa annoyed at David on MAFS Australia?
Last week, Alissa was informed about screenshots of horrible messages Bec had sent about her and David. And before she left the experiment, Juliette sent them to Alissa.
This week’s task was Feedback Week, and so each participant was paired up with someone else. And the goal was to get meaningful advice on their relationships.
Before David headed off, Alissa asked him not to mention the screenshots if he was matched with Bec and Danny, as she wanted to do that herself.
However, that wasn’t as easy as it seemed. David was paired with Bec, and very quickly, the messages were mentioned. David tried his best to stay away from the topic, but Bec wanted to air her side of the story.
By the time he got back to the apartment and explained what happened, Alissa was fuming. He explained that Bec was the one who brought it up, but that didn’t make things better in her mind.

She said to the producers: “The one thing I said to David today before he left was for him not to bring up the text messages. And it as brought up. It’s upset me. I’m really disappointed. It’s something that I wanted to address.”
David explained he told Bec that she and Alissa can sort it out. Alissa responded: “But babe, I asked you not to. You should have said this is not for me to step in.”
Fans perform U-turn on ‘main character’
However, Alissa’s sudden outburst on David has actually made a lot of fans question her, and wonder if she’s really as sweet as they thought.
So far, fans had been on Alissa’s side in all of the arguments, but this could be the one that has changed their minds.
Taking to Reddit, one fan penned: “The way Alissa was going at David, you’d think he killed someone. They agreed David wouldn’t bring it up. But Bec did. Yes, David could have shut down the conversation if he’d wanted to, but he clearly had things he wanted to say.”
“Why the [bleep] is Alissa mad at David? He did nothing wrong. He didn’t bring it up. And he addressed it calmly. She’s just being a bit self absorbed and wants to be the main character,” another added.
A third commented: “I don’t fully get why she was so upset. I mean, what else was David supposed to do? But also, what’s stopping Alissa from bringing it up to Bec later anyway?”
An angry fan wrote: “Dear Alissa. You are in a relationship, and David is just as capable of handling the mistreatment of that relationship as you are. You can’t control the entire planet. His actions have not erased your agenda, and he always has your back.”
