MAFS Australia's Gia branded a 'hypocrite' as she gives her lame excuse for bullying Alissa
Gia's accused of 'shirking responsibility'MAFS Australia‘s Gia has been called a ‘hypocrite’ following her apology to Alissa during last night’s dinner party.
Gia, who has been behind some of the vilest scenes this series, was quick to tell her rival that she was bullied when she was younger.
The mum-of-one tried to reassure Alissa that she “isn’t a bully”, while claiming that it was Bec that had spurred her on.

Gia made a beeline straight for Alissa at the cocktail reception to dish out her words of sorry.
It came after last week’s explosive dinner party, which saw Gia, Brook and Bec fire “hours” of foul-mouthed abuse at Alissa.
MAFS Australia’s Gia apologises to Alissa
Sitting down with Alissa last night, Gia said: “I’ve been bullied so much in high school and everything in my life. What I did, I would hate for someone to do to me. I’m really sorry.”
Alissa told her: “That’s okay. I’ve put it behind me.”
As she continued, Gia firmly planted the blame at Bec’s door: “You don’t know but behind the scenes, I was fed a lot of things about you constantly,” she said.

Alissa told her: “I don’t know where that came from. I literally met Bec twice through mutual friends in Adelaide. But thank you for your apology.”
The girls then hugged, as Gia told Alissa she is “gorge, babe”.

Across the room, Bec was fuming. She ranted to the cameras: “Gia acts like she’s best friends with Alissa. It’s because she’s got no one left. You’ve got no allies, Gia, there is no one left.”
The drama then ramped up, as Gia later shouted across the table to Bec: “The only reason I hated Alissa, is because of what you’ve said about her. You’re a mean girl and all you do is go around and talk [bleep] about everyone.”
Fans, however, are not buying Gia’s apology or U-turn on Alissa.
MAFS Australia fans react to Gia’s apology
Writing on Reddit, one viewer fumed: “I hate Gia (or at least the TV version we see). ‘I’m not a bully, I’ve been bullied, I only hate Alissa because of things Bec said’.
“Not only does she shirk responsibility for her own horrible behaviour towards Alissa last dinner party, but she goes out of her way to drag her into the conversation again with zero care for how Alissa would feel having those messages read out.”
Another fan agreed: “Gia, you’re a grown woman. What do you mean ‘she had made me talk [bleep] about Alissa’. Ugh. Gia sucks.”

And a third said: “Let me get this right… Bec told Gia numerous stories about Alissa and that’s why Gia is horrible towards Alissa? REALLY??”
The conversation has been in full swing on X, too. Someone wrote: “Gia is a mean girl based on her insecurities. She says she was bullied. She’s now the bully.”
And one viewer said: “People who were bullied know how it feels and police their own words, because they know how it feels and would never want anyone to feel like that even unintentionally. So Gia’s cruel comments make no sense.”
