'Crazier than MAFS Australia!' Fans thrilled to hear MAFS USA is coming to E4 and here's exactly when the American version starts

Well, they will arrive at the altar to take their Final Vows. Whether they go through with them remains to be seen!
MAFS Australia has been on our screens since February, so you might feel some pangs of grief when we say goodbye to our new Aussie friends.
But fear not, as MAFS USA – which has been tipped as “crazier” and even more “toxic” that its Australian counterpart – is coming.
And the start date is sooner than you think.
E4 confirms it will air MAFS USA
Married At First Sight Australia really came into its own with British audiences during the 2020 pandemic. Since then, the crazy and glamorous Aussie newlyweds have been a yearly fixture for us when MAFS UK isn’t keeping us glued.
But MAFS USA has never really taken off here, although that could all be set to change.

Channel 4 has announced the latest series of the American version of Married At First Sight will air on E4.
Season 19 of MAFS USA premiered across the pond in October last year on Peacock. This series is set in Austin, Texas, and features 10 couples hoping to meet their match at the altar.
A blurb for the first episode reads: “In Austin, ten singles prepare to marry complete strangers in a quest for love.
“As two couples say I do,” sparks fly but first impressions falter when one newlywed clashes with their in-laws and another faces a shocking twist with their new family.”
Fans are in for a really wild ride, with those who have seen it claim it is even more “toxic” than MAFS Australia. Given Gia, Bec and Brook’s behaviour, this is really saying something!
In a trailer for the show, one bride even announces: “There’s something I need to tell you. I’m pregnant.”

‘Toxic people’
Summarising on Reddit, one American viewer has described the cast as “insufferable and unlikeable”.
The fan said: “Season 19 might have the most toxic people yet in the entire MAFS history.
“I’m not saying this season has the top most toxic person of the whole show. there’s definitely very toxic people from other seasons.
“I mean like this season has more bad couples and more bad people combined in a single season, whereas other seasons had a bit more of a balance of awful people and decent people.
“This season has a higher percentage of insufferable and unlikeable people, and pretty much none of the couples are really clicking well.
“This has got to be some of the most toxic insufferable people all in one season in the show’s history.”
What is the MAFS USA start date in the UK? How many episodes?
Channel 4 has confirmed that MAFS USA will begin airing in the UK later this month. The final episode of MAFS Australia will air next Thursday (May 14), then MAFS USA will start the following week.
The series will kick off on Monday May 18, 2026. Unlike MAFS Australia, the episodes will run each weeknight from Monday to Friday. This is a change to the current Monday to Thursday schedule.
You might also be happy or relieved – whichever way you look at it – by the length of the series. By the time you’ve finished with MAFS Australia, you will have watched a whopping 39 episodes.
There is only 14 episodes in series 19 of MAFS USA, including the Reunion Special right at the end.
Given that it’s not such a commitment, maybe we will be saying “I do” to this version as well!
