MAFS Australia's Gia exposed for telling massive lie after claiming to heartbroken Scott she was returning home to see her daughter
Gia wasn't where she said she wasMAFS Australia’s Gia Fleur has been caught out in a huge lie, after leaving Scott and the show to return to her daughter in Melbourne.
In one of the most dramatic final weeks, numerous couples have all hit some issues, with Gia and Scott going from being the strongest couple to the weakest. Tonight’s dramatic episode (May 6) saw Gia leave the experiment once again.
But Gia tells Scott that she’s heading back to Melbourne to see her daughter and her mum. And even goes as far as to message all the girls in the experiment about being home. However, that’s not where she was at all.

Scott left heartbroken as Gia quits MAFS Australia
After the final task which saw Gia flirt quite a bit with her alternative match, James, she decided that she wanted herself and Scott to leave the experiment together.
While Scott initially agreed, he quickly changed his mind, wanting to make it to the end of the show alongside his wife. The pair ended up getting into quite a big row on the street, before Gia told him she was going back to Melbourne, and jumped into a taxi.
Scott then returned to the apartment alone, to find Gia’s ring waiting. And then, he got the opportunity to see how she really acted during the final task.
During the final task, Gia had got James’ number – and has since called him three times. She also told him that she was “done” in a week, so he wouldn’t have that long to wait for her.
When Scott saw her behaviour, he was absolutely devastated. And he even broke down in tears, realising he had been “lied to” and “manipulated” for months.

But it’s not long before he has another huge shock.

Gia’s shock Melbourne lie exposed
In tomorrow night’s episode (May 7) Scott reveals to the cameras that Gia has returned to Melbourne. And has been telling him that she has spent the night crying and hugging her daughter. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Shockingly, it’s Fillip who realises that Gia has been lying about her whereabouts, as he spotted her at the elevators in the apartment building. And he immediately informs Scott.
Everyone is shocked, but Scott was wary that this meant she would be attending the final dinner party – which she does. Gia walks in and tells Scott that she wants him back, but she’s left confronted by her lies as Scott reveals he knows she wasn’t in Melbourne.
Scott revealed: “Gia was meant to go home to Melbourne when she left me. But it turns out she wasn’t there, she was in Sydney the whole time. I have just been lied to, and using her daughter as emotional manipulation. She told me her daughter was upset, crying with her. All of it was a lie. She didn’t fly back to Melbourne. You don’t do that. It’s inexcusable behaviour. I can’t trust this person I was falling in love with.”

Why did Gia lie about going home?
When she made her dramatic entrance at tomorrow night’s dinner party, Scott is quick to reveal that he knows the truth.
Encouraged by her new-friend, Bec, Gia reads Scott a letter about how she feels about him. But afterwards, he shocks her by saying he “knows more” than she thinks. Scott then reads his own letter, firmly ending their relationship.
But Gia is desperate for him to hear her out, so she chases him outside. She tells him: “I’m sorry. I just want you to know that when I was in Sydney, I flew my mum and daughter here. They were with me, I have proof of it. I stayed in Sydney because I thought you would chase me, and you didn’t.”
When confronted about her lie on her shock After The Dinner Party appearance, Gia tried to blame production for her staying. But backtracked explaining that she wanted to see Scott one more time.
She told them: “I don’t know if I can say. But production wanted me to come back for the dinner party to confront Scott. I didn’t want to come back. It’s not that they made me but it was the only opportunity for me to see Scott again. I had reached out, called and texted him. But I didn’t know what else to do. So I was like [bleep] it, I’ll go to the dinner party.”
With final vows happening on Monday night, it’s safe to say it looks like Gia and Scott have hit the end of the road.
