MAFS Australia bride Gia has officially cut all ties with ex-husband Scott following their rollercoaster relationship on the hit E4 show as she has their matching tattoo removed – but what did she cover it up with? And why?

For the last lot of weeks, viewers have been left absolutely shocked and disgusted with quite a lot of the behaviour on MAFS. Multiple contestants have been forced to apologise for their actions, with a few even storming off the show and not coming back.

But Gia and Scott have remained a huge talking point throughout the entire series. And with Homestays Week not exactly going great for them, it seems now they have completely wiped the other from their lives.

Gia and Scott’s matching MAFS Australia tattoo

Quite early on in MAFS Australia, Gia and Scott decided to take a huge leap of faith and get a matching tattoo. On their one month anniversary they went to a tattoo parlour and got each got a heart with the number 13 in the middle. This was to represent meeting on series 13 of MAFS.

However, Aussie viewers will already know exactly what goes down in their relationship, but those watching in the UK still are waiting to see the messy break-up play out on our screens.

But now that the show is over in Australia, Gia and Scott don’t have to keep any parts of their lives a secret anymore. So, it’s no surprise that Gia was quick to get her tattoo covered up. And her choice of cover-up was… a bunny rabbit.

In a video shared by New Idea, Gia was seen thanking the team at Village Tattoo Melbourne.

She said: “Thank you so much for bringing me this peace I desired today. It really made me feel like a new person again. My past is gone. It’s a cute, little sweet reminder to stay curious and be playful. It also has a little nod to my Playboy history.”

However, Gia clearly hasn’t been put off the idea of getting a tattoo for a significant other. She already has her new beau’s name tattooed, and vice versa.

Gia moved on from Scott with Love Triangle star Alan Wallace at the start of 2026, and within three months, the pair got each others names tattooed. And Gia, alongside her daughter, Willa, have already moved in with Alan on the Gold Coast!

Does Scott still have his heart MAFS tattoo?

Gia isn’t the only one who decided to shed the past. Scott also has covered up his MAFS Australia tattoo.

Taking to TikTok, Scott shared the news that he no longer wants to be reminded of his time on the show. And he doesn’t want to be “controlled”. Scott chose to cover the heart with an eagle.

He said: “How to make a tattoo look even better. The eagle represents something for me. I got it for freedom, living life on my own terms. And not being controlled.”

Also, in the video, he added: “Come spend the day with me. Let’s see what we can do with this tattoo shall we? Sometimes, we all make mistakes.”

Scott and Gia Homestays Week bump

It’s currently so close to the end now, but there’s still just constant drama in the show. And this week was a chance for the couples to see if they fit into each other’s world. And it’s safe to say Gia wasn’t fussed on Scott’s house.

He brought her to his $1.9 million coastal house, which looks absolutely stunning. But the entire time she was there, Gia just found reasons to complain.

From the second she arrived, Gia claimed the house was too small for her (it was a huge house). She explained that she has “two closets for myself and a whole beauty room full of stuff” in the four-bedroom home she shares with her daughter.

She also declared the home was “too messy” and that she “couldn’t live” there. Scott was naturally taken aback, explaining that he would “never” say anything like that about somebody’s home.

However, the pair once again moved on from their blip. But with only one week of the experiment left, it looks like things are about to explode.
