MAFS Australia's Steven completely unrecognisable in unearthed photos before his huge transformation
He looks completely different!MAFS Australia groom Steven Danyluk has been making his mark on the show with wife Rachel. But as he opens up about his transformation, old pictures of the TV star have resurfaced.
From the start, MAFS couple Steven and Rachel seemed to get on swimmingly. During their honeymoon, the pair hit a slight blip when Rachel got annoyed at Steven over football. But it wasn’t long before the pair were back and better than ever.
Tonight (March 18) marks the start of Revelations Week, where the couples will learn more about each other. And when Rachel hears Steven speak about his transformation, she’s quite sad for him.
MAFS Steven opens up on weight transformation
The MAFS Australia couples got to watch each others audition tapes. And Rachel was upset to see how much Steven forced himself to change over the years.
In his audition, Steven explained: “Most of my friends are married and a lot of them are starting to have kids now. I only have one friend that is similar to me, and we are kind of the black sheep of the group.”
He added: “Height is a massive thing. I’m 5’10 and I’m a little bit sour on the fact that when I was bigger I just got no attention. I had to work my butt off to starve myself and go on diet plans to make myself lose weight and get muscle.
“It was to turn myself into something that I really didn’t believe mattered. I’m still the same guy but I’m just a bit thinner now.”
After watching the video, Rachel was upset to realise what he had been through. The pair spoke openly about their emotions and she made sure he knew how accepted he was with her.

But Steven’s weight isn’t the only huge transformation the MAFS Australia star has had. In old photos, he actually used to have a very heavy metal look.
Steven unrecognisable in old photos
Throwback photos of the business owner have recently resurfaced from his Instagram, and Steven had a dramatically different aesthetic.
But Steven actually spoke to the MAFS producers ahead of the show, about his heavy metal background.

He told them: “When I was a teenager, I was too busy trying to be a rockstar. I was a drummer.”
Steven admitted he is “out of it” now as he is “getting old” but the resurfaced snaps show he once did i fact have the stereotypical long hair and makeup.
So, while the old pics definitely are a surprise, it appears that Steven has completely moved on from his rockstar era. What a shame!
