Netflix fans left asking where Taylor Parker is now after watching wildly shocking documentary Maternal Instinct
Taylor faked a pregnancy then killed her best friend and stole her unborn babyTaylor Parker is at the centre of a wild new Netflix documentary called Maternal Instinct – and viewers will be desperate to know where she is now.
The warped woman faked a full-term pregnancy before murdering her pregnant best friend and cutting her unborn child from her womb.
She immediately tried to convince police she had just given birth to the baby.

The documentary begins with Taylor sitting in the driver’s seat of her car with the tragic little newborn in her lap, umbilical cord and placenta still attached.
She tells a highways officer she had just given birth to the baby while traveling to the hospital.
Taylor had in fact just brutally stolen the baby from 21-year-old Reagan Hancock.
The real-life crime story is like something out of a horror movie. So where is Taylor Parker now?
What did Taylor Parker from Netflix’s Maternal Instinct do?
Maternal Instinct, which has just landed on Netflix, tells the almost unbelievable story of Taylor Parker. Viewers quickly learn how she fell for boyfriend Wade Griffin in 2015 before convincing him she was coming into a huge $8million fortune.

She bought multiple cars and even offered $4million on a sprawling ranch (almost £3million). But as her lies began to unravel, Taylor told him she was pregnant to ‘keep hold of him’.
Unbeknown to Wade, this was impossible. The mum-of-two, who didn’t see much of her kids from a previous relationship, had undergone a hysterectomy before she met him.
Taylor faked her pregnancy using a silicone bump and ultrasound pictures she bought online. She even held a gender reveal party, revealing they were ‘having a girl’.
By the time she had ‘gone overdue’, some of Wade’s relatives had got wind of her lies. But he would not listen.
In an unthinkable move, she then visited her pregnant friend Reagan’s house and murdered her in the garage before stealing her baby out of her womb.

How did Taylor kill Reagan Hancock?
During Taylor’s trial, the court heard she inflicted 15 stab wounds on Reagan and removed her unborn child from her womb with a scalpel. Taylor later admitted the scalpel was kept in a medical kit she would take out with her dogs when hog hunting.
Taylor claimed Reagan had “wanted” her to take her baby because she ‘thought it was dying’. Police video tapes were played to the jury that showed Taylor lying: “She was screaming, ‘Take her out. Take the baby out!’.”
Immediately after she’d committed her brutal crime, Taylor was pulled over by highways police officer for driving erratically. They discovered the baby lying in her lap with the umbilical cord and placenta still attached.
Medical examinations at the hospital proved Taylor had not given birth and she was arrested for Reagan’s murder and the baby’s kidnap. Sadly, the baby was also dead.
It has since transpired that Taylor had previously lied about having MS, cancer, a brain tumour and a stroke. It has also been revealed she used a huge number of fake aliases to cover her cons, along with voice altering equipment and multiple phones.

Where is Taylor Parker from Netflix’s Maternal Instinct now?
Taylor is seen receiving the death sentence at the end of Netflix’s Maternal Instinct. A judge declared “send her to death row” after she was convicted of the murder of Reagan and her unborn baby.
She is only the seventh woman – and youngest – in Texas to be placed on death row. She was initially sent to the Mountain View Unit, which houses female criminals in Texas, “to be executed”.
Taylor was sentenced on November 9, 2022 and she still remains on death row. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice has her profile listed on its website under Death Row Information. It is believed she will die by lethal injection.
The summary of the ‘incident’ states: “On October 9, 2020, the subject killed a 21-year-old pregnant woman to take her unborn child.”
In March this year, Taylor filed an appeal asking for a review of her sentence. She was handed a death sentence for the combined crimes of murder and kidnapping. The offences individually would have avoided the death sentence.
Taylor’s lawyers argue that the baby had died and therefore “could not be victim or target of a kidnapping”.
In May, the US Supreme Court declined to review Taylor’s sentence. She is now being held at Patrick L. O’Daniel Unit in Gatesville, Texas.
A date for Taylor’s execution has not been set.
