As Sarah rushes out of Bethany’s birthday meal , 4 Coronation Street clues that she could be true Theo murder culprit
Sarah couldn't stand to be around all of the Theo talk
In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Thursday, June 4), Sarah Platt left Bethany’s birthday meal when the topic of conversation turned to Theo.
After accidentally forgetting her daughter’s birthday, Sarah urged Nick to hold a last minute celebration at the bistro.
But, as she left the gathering as soon as it had started, could Sarah be the true Theo murder culprit?

Bethany Platt’s birthday meal in Coronation Street
Today in Weatherfield, Bethany took a trip to the salon to get her hair done by Maria for her birthday.
She then said that she didn’t have much planned, and her own mum had forgotten that it was her special day and was mortified when Gail’s card arrived in the post.
Gary was very protective of Sarah and asked her family to cut her some slack as she’d just suffered a head injury.
At the birthday meal that Nick had arranged lats minute, the family sat down to celebrate as Bethany unwrapped Sarah’s last minute present. She seemed more chuffed with Jodie’s though.
When Jodie brought up the topic of Theo’s murder though, Sarah suddenly ‘felt sick’ and left to go home.
When she got home, Kit then told her all about the discovery of Todd’s phone that they’d found in the skip at the builder’s yard. Sarah tried to defend Gary’s innocence, but Kit believed that he’d killed Theo.
But, why did Sarah rush off from the meal at the mention of Theo’s murder? Did she kill him? Here are X ‘clues’ that point to her as the culprit.

Sarah murdered Theo ‘clues’
1. Sharing a secret with Gary
Sarah is obviously sharing a secret with Gary. We’re not sure what it is yet, but it’s something to do with Theo’s murder night.
Maria’s noticed that Gary’s been hiding something from her recently, and fans have feared that Sarah and Gary could be having an affair.
Jodie recently overheard Sarah talking to Gary on the phone and promising to ‘always be there’ for him. But, what if Sarah went to Gary for advice on how to cover up a murder? What if they bumped Theo off together? We all know Gary’s a pro in that department.
2. Acting suspicious every time a new suspect comes to light
It hasn’t gone amiss that every time the police create a new top suspect, Sarah gets worried. She starts asking questions and even tries to defend them. She’s done this with George, Summer and Gary.
It’s almost like she knows they’re innocent. Almost as though she knows who really did the crime…
3. Behaviour change at work
Sarah used to be the ‘nice boss’ at Underworld, but ever since Theo’s murder night, she’s started having a go at the staff for just about anything and everything. She even did so on the anniversary of poor Craig’s death.
Carla’s definitely picked up on the change and urged Sarah to take some time off. But, is Sarah simply paranoid after her attack? Or, is she struggling with guilt after bumping Theo off?
4. Leaving the meal at the mention of Theo
Tonight’s scenes were another key ‘clue’ that Sarah could’ve killed abusive Theo.
Somebody who felt so guilty about forgetting her own daughter’s birthday and wanted to make up for it with a meal wouldn’t so easily get up and leave it.
She’s hiding something about that night. And, Jodie knew exactly what she was doing by bringing that topic up today. But, did Sarah kill Theo? Will any more ‘clues’ be revealed?
