Strictly Come Dancing 2026 fans took to social media to slam the judges after their “harsh” scoring of Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal’s routine.

Fans admitted they “just wanted to hug” the Emmerdale star after he received a shock low score this week.

Tonight’s edition of Strictly saw Lawrence and Jowita perform a jive to Fatboy Slim’s The Rockefeller Skank.

However, the judges didn’t appear to be fans of the routine, giving the couple a very low score of 19.

They criticised the soap star for making some mistakes during the routine.

“I would have liked to have seen a much better jive,” Craig Revel Horwood said, branding it “flat-footed” and saying the star was “completely out of time” at the beginning.

“It wasn’t your best dance,” he then added.

Motsi Mabuse, meanwhile, praised Lawrence for recovering well, despite making some mistakes.

Anton said he’d liked everything “from the ankles up”.

“I’ve had a lot of that over the years, where my partner and I have decided to do a routine that we hadn’t agreed on,” he also said.

Shirley said the routine had “too many mistakes”.

When it came to scoring, the judges gave them 19 points.

Craig gave a score of 4, Motsi gave a 5, Shirley gave a 4, and Anton gave a 6.

It was a marked difference from last weekend’s performance, which saw them score 30. Fans branded Jowita “superwoman” thanks to the spectacular lifts in the routine.

Fans were not happy with the judges’ scoring of Lawrence’s routine tonight.

Taking to X, they let their feelings been known.

“That was ridiculously harsh on Lawrence. Zero need to humiliate someone like that. He will get my vote because of it,” one fan said.

“Might actually vote for Lawrence, you know [crying emoji] those scores were evil,” another wrote.

“One of my votes is 100% going to Lawrence! He needs a huge boost of support because I truly feel the judges are ruining his confidence,” a third commented.

“4s for Lawrence is very harsh- I thought the dance was good,” another added. “Oh bless Lawrence I just wanna give him a hug,” a fifth said.
