Strictly Come Dancing fans are seriously worried that Graeme Hall is being turned into “the joke act” of the 2026 series.

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly star Graeme was seen in a synthetic blonde wig on the BBC show this weekend.

Graeme had taken on the role of Bjorn from ABBA, while his partner Lauren Oakley channeled Agneta.

But although it was all in aid of Icons Week, fans of Graeme’s are worried.

Graeme and Lauren’s ABBA-inspired Salsa earned them 28 marks from the judges. This placed them fifth on the leaderboard.

However, just one week earlier, the show had also made Graeme dress up as a very twee milkman. For Week 3, the couple had performed a Jive together to Reet Petite by Jackie Wilson.

Fans fear the characters imposed on the professional dog trainer could have a negative effect on him. And they have issued a demand to show bosses.

Sharing their concerns, one fan wrote on Instagram: “I’m worried they are trying to turn Graeme into the joke act this season when actually he’s really good. Please take him seriously!”

Another replied: “Yes, so do I. It’s a shame because he’s good.”

And a third agreed, saying: “Yes, exactly the same. Look what they dressed him as last week. Everyone was wearing nice outfits.”

The chat was similar over on X, too.

One viewer complained: “Lauren survives Icons Week!!!! Now please, can we go back to her and Graeme having serious routines and not whatever comedy mess that was.”

What are Graeme and Lauren dancing to next on Strictly?

Graeme and Lauren have made it through to Week 5 of Strictly Come Dancing 2026 and have already revealed their song and dance.

Lauren told Graeme during Sunday’s Strictly Come Dancing: The Results: “We are back in hold, back in ballroom territory and the wig is going. We are dancing a Tango.”

They will be dancing to Hernando’s Hideaway by Archie Bleyer, which is a 1954 Tango tune.

It’ll be good to have the old Graeme back!
