Rob is one of 23 new players to take part in the show, which has just landed on BBC iPlayer for fans this side of the pond.

The Traitors US: Who is Rob Rausch?
Rob was born on September 1, 1998. This makes him 27 years old.
He was raised on a 200-acre farm in Alabama, America. But not in a sprawling converted barn. Rob grew up with his parents and three siblings in a three-bedroom trailer on their land.
He’s previously described his upbringing as “unorthodox” and says he was homeschooled for a lot of it.

Rob did, however, go on to study at the University of North Alabama for three years.
Rob the snake wrangler
Having spent much of his childhood playing outdoors, Rob developed a passion for wildlife and animals from a young age. He was reportedly called on as a kid to handle and relocate snakes for locals.
Rob turned his love into a career and began working as a professional snake wrangler. He’d spend his day moving wild snakes to areas where they would have a better chance of survival.
Rob has been bitten by snakes, but thankfully has lived to tell the tale! The star has also built himself a career as a wildlife and snake wrangling influencer (who knew there was such a thing?!) on social media.
When was Rob Rausch on Love Island USA?
Rob had his first taste of fame after signing up for the 2023 series of Love Island USA. He was sent into the show as a Casa Amor bombshell but wasn’t taken back to the main villa by any of the girls.
The following year, Rob returned as a main contestant for the 2024 series. And his time in the villa was this time described as “polarising”.
Rob initially coupled up with Leah Kateb and fans had high hopes. He then ditched her for bombshell Andrea Carmona and sparked a backlash for doing so. He was even branded by some as a ‘villain’.
But it wasn’t to last and Rob tried a further four connections. Again, true love did not blossom. Rob was eliminated on Day 30 and left a single man.
Interestingly, Rob starred on Love Island USA when Maura Higgins – his Traitors US co-star – was Stateside presenting the spin-off show, Love Island USA: Aftersun.
Did Rob date Maura Higgins?
As The Traitors US gets underway, viewers may notice a strong bond forming between Rob and Irish co-star Maura, 35. The pair already knew each other on arrival at Ardross Castle due to their Love Island USA link and get on well.
In January this year, while the series was airing in America, rumours of a romantic connection between Rob and Maura began flying. Without giving away too many spoilers, they do become a little ‘touchy feely’ as the show progresses.
However, Maura has since told US Weekly she sees Rob as a “brother”.
“I’m not gonna ruin it for the viewers, but no, nothing ever happened between me and Rob,” Maura said. “I genuinely look at Rob like a brother. Literally nothing ever happened.”
Rob did reportedly bought Maura a designer Birkin handbag with an £11,000 price tag, though. We will just leave that there for you to ponder over…

Given the hot Alabama weather, Rob loves to show off his biceps in denim dungarees, often with nothing underneath. Even while filming The Traitors US in Scotland he braved the look, albeit with a white vest underneath.

This means fans watching on the Beeb will be able to have a good look at his tattoos. So what has he got?
Unsurprisingly, the inkings are of snakes and wildlife!
The most obvious tattoos are two large snakes travelling across each of his biceps. He also has other snakes down one arm, an alligator, a shark’s tooth and a spider to name a few.
Close to his armpit, Rob has a tattoo of a sword piercing three hearts. Interesting.
Then, last summer, Rob had a big skeleton of a fish – most likely a piraña – etched on his arm while visiting Italy and Malta.
