Unlike the UK series, the American version of the show – which can now be streamed on BBC iPlayer – only ever signs up celebrities to take part.
So don’t expect ‘normal’ folk like this year’s champions Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby to be turning up at Ardross Castle.

Who keeps the prize money on The Traitors US?
For the first time last year, fans in the UK were treated to a celebrity version of The Traitors. Stars including Jonathan Ross, Paloma Faith and Tom Daley all headed into the castle to play the game.

They all had their eyes on the prize pot, as they were each playing for a specific charity. Comedian Alan Carr won the series and walked away with £87,500, which he donated to Neuroblastoma UK.
But it is VERY different in the American version of The Traitors. The winner – or winners – get to keep the prize money!
So, rather than a charity, the cash goes straight into their bank accounts for keeps.
This year, the amount is capped at a whopping $250,000, which equates to around £188,700.
Not bad for an adventure holiday in Scotland, eh?!
