The Voice UK stars Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones are reportedly out of the ITV talent show.

Reports claim that bosses wanted both McFly stars back for series 15. But sources say the pair have stepped away as uncertainty grows.

Future of The Voice UK

The Voice UK series 14 has already faced some delays although its production was complete some time ago. Reports have claimed it’ll air sometime this year.

But, that has left ITV with a difficult timetable. An autumn launch could create an awkward clash for Emma Willis.

Emma, 50, will host Strictly Come Dancing after Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepped down last year. That move has added more pressure around The Voice reports.

Now, it’s been claimed that Tom and Danny may not be up for series 15.

A source told The Sun: “Tom and Danny loved their time on the show, but a full series is a huge commitment.”

The same source said Tom’s other projects made a return hard.

They claimed: “Tom is back and forth from New York, working on taking Paddington: The Musical over there from London’s West End and he’s also in and out of the studio writing the eighth McFly album with Danny. As much as they would have liked to return to The Voice, sadly it’s impossible.”

The insider also said filming should resume this autumn. Even so, it remains unclear whether Emma will return to her hosting role for another series.

The Voice last aired in 2024. Ava Manning, coached by Danny and Tom, won the show. She bagged a Universal record deal, £50,000 in prize money, and a luxury holiday to Universal Resort in Orlando.

ITV’s wider schedule is also changing. Celebrity Big Brother has reportedly been axed, after the broadcaster rested the reality show and planned a possible move to ITV2 in 2027.

As much as they would have liked to return to The Voice, sadly it’s impossible.

Another insider told The Sun that celebrity bookings have become harder. They claimed many stars now want The Celebrity Traitors instead.

That has created problems for other ITV staples too. For now, ITV has not confirmed any final decision on the coaching panel for The Voice UK.

Representatives for ITV, Danny and Tom have been contacted for comment.
