Top 6 moments from Emmerdale tonight as fans beg: 'More please'
After Cain and Charity's special episode was praised, tonight's fun was also a hitEmmerdale has had quite the week and just when you thought it couldn’t top Wednesday night’s incredible two-hander, along comes tonight’s episode which was absolutely genius.
On Thursday March 26 the Dingles went to war with the Tates after stealing the cows from Robert’s farm. The whole way through Joe was chasing the cattle and for once the Dingles were one step ahead all the way.
From Charity faking going into labour, Joe Tate’s desperate hunt for the herd and the Dingles all laughing at the end as the Tates realised what had happened, it felt like the light-hearted Emmerdale of old. And fans loved it.

Top moments from Emmerdale tonight
With the cows being stolen, Joe was sure the Dingles were behind it. Of course they were, but could Joe prove it? With Dingle decoys left right and centre, it really was a family theft. And they certainly pulled it off in style!

1. Charity’s fake labour
She’s done it plenty of times before so she knows exactly how to play it, but Charity stalling Joe while pretending to be in labour was brilliant.
When she cried ‘help me get my pants off’, the horror on his face was worth an award alone. What a scene.

2. Ross!
We can’t get enough of Ross this week. When he pulled up and realised Charity was in labour. He acted swiftly to get her to the hospital.
He was the perfect birthing partner helping her breathe and was just overall hilarious once again.

3. Ballsy Belle
She’s been quiet of late, but boy did she deliver tonight. Having taken charge of selling the stolen herd, she was not going to let the dodgy buyer get one over on her.
Listing just how scary her brother Cain was, Belle refused to sell unless she got the right price. In fact, she ended up getting more money than was originally agreed.
We like this side of Belle.

4. Kim and Chas in Emmerdale tonight
Chas might have been playing Kim, but their scenes were still really good. And drunk Kim was amazing.
We found ourselves thinking these two would make a good friendship for real. Let’s make it happen.

5. The smug smile wiped off Joe’s face
Joe really thought he was going to locate the cows by following the bull’s tracker. And then when he found it tied to a tree it was priceless.
The egg is well and truly on your face Joe. And it’s about time.

6. The Dingles
The last shot of the Dingles laughing as the Tates walked away with their tails between their legs sums up the whole character of the show.
It gave heart, it gave humour and it gave the good guys winning for once. Bravo.

A further commenter said: “Another brilliant episode of Emmerdale tonight. I thought yesterday’s ep would be this week’s highlight but today’s ep perfectly captured what Emmerdale is all about. Farming and comedy drama. Whoever wrote and produced today’s ep big props to them. More of today please!”
