What is behind John's door? What happens next in Emmerdale as Mack isn't dead theories reach fever pitch
Is John holding Mack hostage? There was more creepy behaviour from John Sugden in Emmerdale tonight as he overreacted to Aaron’s curiosity about a locked door.
The couple are currently enjoying a break at a remote cottage, with a suggestion that they may make the move away from the village permanent.
But will John’s shifty behaviour result in Aaron discovering what happened to Mackenzie Boyd? Here’s what happens next.

What’s behind John’s creepy locked door?
John and Aaron were back on-screen in Emmerdale today as the pair were seen enjoying spending time at a remote cottage.
Aaron told John that he could happily settle there and said that they should try to buy the property from the landlord.
John was unsettled by the suggestion and insisted the landlord would not want to sell. To drum home this view, he even faked a phone conversation and informed Aaron that the owners had no interest in selling the cottage.
Later, Aaron wandered around the house and came across a locked door. John caught Aaron trying to gain entry and quickly distracted him.
As John encouraged Aaron to get the car started for their trip to the pub, John double checked the door was locked.
Elsewhere, Moira was not best pleased when Mack didn’t return from the stag do on time. With Mack having been attacked by John, could John be hiding him in the locked room?

Mack isn’t dead, fans claim
Last week, John seemingly killed Mack. But with his suspicious behaviour and the fact that a dead body wasn’t actually shown, fans aren’t sure Mack really is dead.
“I’m convinced Mack‘s not dead,” wrote one fan on X. A second fan said: “Maybe he’s in that room that is locked in the house they are staying at. John looked suspicious trying the door maybe he’s checking that it won’t be opened by anyone.”
Other fans believe Mack is alive, but that he’s not being kept in the cottage. A third fan said: “John keeps nipping out a lot, he’s checking on mack I KNOW IT.”
Another fan wrote on Reddit: “John is out of the house more than he is in it, I don’t know what Aaron thinks he’s doing, just wandering about in the woods. But every time we see John he’s either out in the woods or just coming back from them. So I think he must be out feeding/ watering/ medicating/ etc Mack.”
A fifth fan even brought Anthony Fox into the theory, writing: “I think he’s got Mack and Anthony, both alive and hidden somewhere. He’s feeding his saviour complex by coming back to ‘save’ them by bringing food (and in Mack’s case, at the moment, treating his wounds).”

What happens next in Emmerdale?
Next week in Emmerdale spoilers, Chas is saddened to hear that her son Aaron is definitely moving away permanently.
Aaron tries to downplay his concerns regarding John’s behaviour, but Chas senses something is up.
Meanwhile, John is concerned when he discovers that Charity is considering calling the police over missing Mack. John makes up an excuse to leave – leaving Aaron feeling more bemused.
Elsewhere, Victoria chats about Mack’s disappearance with a suspicious Robert. When Victoria tells Robert that Aaron and John are moving into John’s childhood home, Robert walks out.
Robert heads over to Mill Flat, where Aaron is packing and tries to convince him he is making a mistake. As the tension between the two men builds, they share a kiss again, but Aaron struggles with his feelings.
Later, jealous John plans to drug Aaron, determined to make his husband dependent on him. John spikes the whiskey and convinces Aaron to swig it back.
With Aaron uncharacteristically affected by a single glass of whisky, John’s ready to look after him. However, when John heads out to fetch more wood, Aaron decides to pour himself another glass from the drugged whisky. He’s unaware of the danger he is putting himself in.
There’s also Mack news, when Charity receives a voice message ending their marriage…

After seeing football legend Harry Redknapp pulling out his best dance moves, Adam, however wasn't seen dancing due to not feeling well.
Gemma offered to spoon feed Adam, before telling the Bush Telegraph that the drama between him and David Haye caused a rift in camp. She believes the tension has taken its toll.
The good vibes quickly spoiled when the topic of the trial came up – Termite Terror.

I'm A Celeb David and Adam feud causes tension in camp
The camp soon found out that the upcoming trial needed to be completed by a single member of the team. It was called Termite Terror. Gemma asked if Mo wanted to give the trial a go. Jimmy also asks the group if anyone would want to give it a shot.
David chimed in straight away: "Have you done one Adam?"
"Yeah I''m alright though," he replied, explaining he wasn't feeling up well. The conversation also went to how Ashley may give it a go considering it's her birthday.
"Awwww, you can't do it? Don't feel well?" David teased back in a sarcastic tone.
Adam replies: "If I did it, I'd win 10 stars," with a smile. But this confidence seemed to rub David up the wrong way.
"Why don't you do it?" He responded. "Are you that guy that you palms on to a girl on her birthday?"
"It'd be amazing if you got off your arse and did something."
The other team members pleaded with them to stop, asking David to have sympathy for the Waterloo Road actor.
He then complained that he didn't 'like' guys who 'didn't do anything' or that were 'useless'.

"What's his problem," asked one fan, and another answered: "David is the problem."
"David Haye is an absolute joke," as they said he was "bullying" Adam. "He's the worst," they added.
A third penned: "Why is David coming for Adam's throat unprovoked every 30 seconds like wind your neck in."
Someone else pointed out: "David calling Adam useless when David's last challenge was him doing nothing and being useless."
Scarlett opens up to Sinitta over baby loss
Even though tensions were rising in camp, there was a tender moment between Sinitta and Scarlett earlier on.
"So exciting thing that you can raise a human," Sinitta said to the Gogglebox star.
Scarlett replied: "We tried for a log time and I had some losses and it's not nice is it?"
"And because no one talks about it you think there's something wrong with you and you think why is it happening?"
She opened up how the couple miscarried after welcoming Jude, and spent the entire day crying in bed.
"When you lose a baby that way, you're mourning a life that almost happened."
