EastEnders’ schedule has been disrupted by the World Cup fixtures for the last few weeks – so what time is it on on Friday, July 17 and is it on BBC iPlayer as normal?

EastEnders is supposed to air from Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm. Each episode also drops that day at 6am on BBC iPlayer. However, this isn’t always the case, and the soap sometimes has to move as other events take priority.

But when is EastEnders on today? And is it available on BBC iPlayer yet?

When is EastEnders on tonight? And is it streaming on BBC iPlayer yet?

EastEnders will,return to screens tonight (Friday, July 17). It will air at 7.30pm-8pm on BBC One.

This is due to there being an episode missed earlier in the week because of the World Cup causing havoc to the soap’s schedule.

The episode is also available to watch on BBC iPlayer from 6am, where it is released early every day for those who can’t wait.

EastEnders spoilers for tonight – Libby leaves Walford

Lauren is thrown into another emotional ordeal when she receives an urgent call from Mark, who claims their car deal has gone badly wrong and begs her to meet him. Panicked, Lauren rushes over, only to discover Mark made the whole thing up to test her loyalty. Furious at being manipulated, she wastes no time walking away.

Elsewhere, Denise and Jack continue to struggle as the reality of her illness weighs heavily on them. Denise finally admits that her chemotherapy is not working as doctors had hoped. Although Jack is left devastated by the news, Denise makes him promise not to tell the rest of the family. Determined to carry on as normally as possible, she instead throws herself into organising Libby’s leaving party.

Meanwhile, tensions reach breaking point at No.43 when Cleo tells Vicki, Ross and Sharon that she refuses to let Joel move in. Vicki later confides her worries to Sharon at the café, before Avani and Amy confront her over allowing Joel back into Walford.
