When is Loose Women back on? ITV confirms return of daytime schedule including Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard's This Morning comeback
The Loose ladies have been off air for seven weeksLoose Women has been off air for the entire summer but it is finally set to make its return – so when is it back?
ITV has today revealed when the lunchtime panel show will be making its comeback.
The broadcaster has also announced the return of Lorraine Kelly’s programme Lorraine, which has been on a long break, too.
And we now know when Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard will be fronting This Morning again after their summer holiday.
The good news is, you don’t have long to wait.
When is Loose Women back? ITV confirms its return
Loose Women has been off air for almost seven weeks. Kaye Adams bid the show farewell on Friday July 17, telling viewers: “Class is over! Ding, ding, ding, that’s the bell gone.
“That’s the bell for the end of term. For us as well, we’re done for the summer.”
Loose Women hasn’t been out of the headlines, however.
Nadia Sawalha has revealed she is taking legal action against ITV during the show’s hiatus.
The panelist claims she has been dropped from the show due to her personal views on Palestine and the conflict in Gaza. A petition calling for her to be allowed back on Loose Women has almost topped 91,000 signatures.
Meanwhile, Denise Welch has confirmed she has quit Loose Women. Denise has been on the panel for 25 years but wants to focus on her acting instead.
Unconfirmed reports have since claimed two new panelists are set to join the show when it returns. So when is it back?
Loose Women will return to ITV1 on Monday September 7, 2026. The show will be in its usual 12.30pm lunchtime slot.
Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard’s This Morning return date confirmed
This Morning has seen a big change during the summer. Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard have also been off air since July. The show’s main presenters are always given a lengthy summer holiday.
There has been a rota of hosts stepping in for them during this time, including Josie Gibson, Rylan Clark, Craig Doyle and Angela Scanlon. Paddy McGuinness has also fronted the show, along with Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes.
This Morning was also extended to a whopping three hours to cover Loose Women’s gaping hole at 12.30pm.
But it will all be back to normal next week. Cat and Ben will be back in the hot seat on Monday September 7 and the show will return to its usual time slot of 10am until 12.30pm.
Lorraine Kelly is also back to work on the same day. Her morning show, Lorraine, will resume at 9.30am. This means Good Morning Britain will once again air from 6am until 9.30am, rather than finishing at 10am.
