Where is Cat Deeley? All the clues after mysterious absence from This Morning
Looks like Cat is out of the country...Cat Deeley has been absent from This Morning for most of this week, leaving viewers to raise continuous questions about where she is.
Following a half-term break, Cat and co-host Ben Shephard returned on Monday (February 23). However, the following day, she was suddenly replaced by former Strictly star Angela Scanlon for the next two shows.
Yesterday (February 26), Cat was still off, and Alison Hammond, who regularly fronts the Friday show with Dermot O’Leary, has stepped in.
Why is Cat Deeley not on This Morning today?
After Monday’s episode, Ben took to the show’s Instagram Story and expressed, “Deeley’s done a runner,” straight after the show.
He did not reveal where she was off to. However, he did mention she wouldn’t be hosting the following day.
On Tuesday’s show, Ben hinted she’d be off for a couple of days, joking that Angela would be his “play date” while she’s away.

Cat Deeley on EST time zone in the US
In an Instagram Story shared on Wednesday (February 25), Cat posted a video of herself standing by a window. Her view featured a landscape of tall buildings covered in snow.

Over the top of the clip played Snow by Rosemary Clooney while using a filter of snow dropping down.
The clip featured a timestamp that read 8:49 am, indicating the EST time zone in North America.
Cat’s early start
Meanwhile, yesterday morning, Cat shared another update.
In a video, Cat can be seen making her morning coffee. She then turned the camera around to herself, where she was wearing a face mask.
Noting that it was “early”, the 49-year-old shared another time stamp. This time, it was 6.05 am, confirming that she was still on the same time zone.
Could Cat be in snowy Canada?
In yet another video, Cat posted a video on her Instagram feed getting ready following a shower.
As she sips her morning coffee and gets herself dolled up, she used PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson’s hit Stateside to play over the top to tease fans.
However, according to the TV star, she is not in America.
“Set Prep, before heading down to Hair and Makeup! Not Stateside but pretty close. There’s plenty of snow… what’s your guess?” Cat wrote in her caption.

Immediately, fans began to guess. Some suggested she was in Europe, predicting maybe Iceland or Norway. However, Cat shut down that she was.
Many assumed she was in Canada, and she didn’t deny it.
“Canada?” multiple asked, to which she replied with multiple shushing face emoji every time.
“Ontario, Canada,” another shared. However, Cat said: “Not quite!”
“It has to be Canada East Side? Anyway, missed big time on TV screens in London …come back fast please,” a third shared.
While Cat didn’t confirm the date she’s returning to This Morning, she teased: “Back before you know it! X.”
