Another couple has left the series...Strictly Come Dancing 2026 has seen Melanie Walters leave in the latest elimination following a tense dance-off.
Gavin and Stacey actress Melanie has been paired up with professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec for this year’s series.
But, unfortunately, Melanie and Aljaz’s time on the BBC show has come to an end. But it was good news for Shaun Wright-Phillips, who gets to dance another week in the competition.
Who left Strictly Come Dancing 2026 tonight?
Melanie Walters left Strictly Come Dancing alongside Aljaz Skorjanec during Sunday night’s results show.
It followed a dance-off against Shaun Wright-Phillips and his professional partner Alexis Warr.
During Sunday’s results show, both couples performed their routines. Shaun and Alexis did their Quickstep to I’m a Believer by The Monkees.
Meanwhile, Melanie and Aljaz performed their Charleston to Ooh Ahh… Just A Little Bit by Gina G.
Following the two performances, the judges then decided who they wanted to keep in the competition.
Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Shaun and Alexis while Motsi Mabuse saved Melanie and Aljaz.
Head judge Shirley Ballas chose to save Shaun and Alexis. Anton Du Beke, who got the deciding vote this week, saved Shaun and Alexis, meaning Melanie and Aljaz have left the competition.
