Strictly Come Dancing star Shaun Wright-Phillips is tipped to be the next celebrity to be eliminated from the show for a second week running.

Bookies last week expected the former footballer and his dance partner Alexis Warr to be the first booted off the 2026 series.

However, they were proven wrong when Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden landed in the bottom two and were voted out.

Strictly Come Dancing star Shawn Wright-Phillips favourite to be eliminated this weekend

Even though Shaun avoided the dreaded dance-off on Sunday, Betway believes this weekend will be the week he’s in trouble.

Lewis Knowles said: “Shaun Wright-Phillips has already shown he can defy the odds, having been the favourite to be eliminated last week, only to deliver a much-improved performance and avoid the bottom two altogether.”

He is once again at the top of the market this weekend with odds of 9/4. His chances of survival are “looking much better than they were this time last week.” However, Shaun insists he will be “hoping to build on that performance and prove the bookies wrong once again.”

Falling just behind is Dame Sarah Storey at 11/4. She is paired with Australian pro Julian Caillon.

Gavin & Stacey star Melanie Walters is 3/1 to see her time in the competition ending. She is paired with Aljaz Skorjanec.

Actress Jamie Winstone, who was in the bottom two last weekend, has odds of 5/1. Meanwhile, Bethany Antonia (16/1), Lawrence Robb and Will Best (both at 33/1) are further down the market.

“However, it’s the big names at the bottom of the market who look to have little to worry about, with Dani Dyer at 100/1, Delta Goodrem at 80/1 and Lacey Turner a huge 200/1 to be eliminated next,” Lewis continued.
