Who's the daddy storyline predicted for Bethany after she shares night of passion with Kit

Fans have been predicting for a while that the two would fall into bed as their strange living situation continued in Sarah’s absence. But when the truth was revealed at the end of tonight’s episode it seems there was one other thing on everyone’s minds…
Will Bethany fall pregnant?
Kit and Bethany slept together in Coronation Street
Last week, Kit was burying his head in the sand about his upcoming cancer test results by going on a date with Jodie. Things got heated when they went to the bistro at the same time as Bethany and her date, and Bethany went mad.
Jodie then invited Kit over to help her babysit Harper on Friday night (September 4), but when Shona caught them she wasn’t very happy. She told Kit getting involved with her sister was the worst thing he could possibly do.
Things got a bit weird and a bit flirty when Kit was sandwiched between the pair on the sofa. The action then cut to Kit coming out of his own bedroom and it was clear he’d slept with someone. But who?
Well, right at the end of tonight’s episode (Monday September 7), Bethany confirmed she was the one Kit slept with.
“I don’t want to talk about last night,” he told a shadowy figure in the ginnel. “We slept together, it was a massive mistake, so stop calling me, stop texting, just leave me alone, okay?”
Bethany came into focus as she said: “Oh right, now you want me to leave you alone? Why didn’t you say that last night?”
Mic drop!
Will Bethany get pregnant?
As we picked our jaws up off the floor and started to process what we’d just learned, fans thoughts turned to what could happen next. And they’ve hit on a good old-fashioned who’s the daddy storyline.
It started with pregnancy predictions: “Sooooo how much do we bet Bethany will end up pregnant?” asked one on social media. “So Kit slept with Bethany? Tell me it ain’t so. You’ve slept with your Mum’s fella. P.S. I heard she’ll be pregnant with his child.”
And who could be the dad?
And then others chimed in that the recent spark Bethany has had with Ryan had set alarm bells ringing…
“Who’s the daddy between Kit and Ryan for Bethany incoming then,” said one.
Another added: “Kit struggling on multiple fronts… but trying to push Bethany and Ryan together… Mmm me thinks Bethany is about to discover she pregnant.”
“So Kit encourages Bethany to go out with Ryan, she eventually ends up pregnant, but doesn’t know who the baby daddy is!” predicted a third. They added: “I do hope that if it does happen Ryan is actually the dad because he would be so amazing being a father!”
