Why is Linda Robson not on Loose Women? Viewers convinced actress has been 'replaced' as show makes its return
Will Linda be coming back?Loose Women viewers are welcoming back the show today after its short hiatus but many are wondering why Linda Robson is not on.
The Birds of a Feather star, 68, is usually one of Loose Women’s regular panelists, but she has been missing since early February.
In November last year, even Linda herself said she was unsure if she had a future on Loose Women amid huge cuts at ITV Daytime.
And late last night, a post on the show’s official Instagram account only added fuel to the fire.
Why is Linda Robson not on Loose Women?
Loose Women announced its long-awaited return after six-weeks off air with a gallery of the show’s panelists.
Among them was favourites including Ruth Langsford, Kay Adams, Christine Lampard, and Janet Street Porter.
Relatively new additions GK Barry and Lisa Riley are also among the headshots.
The post read: “Guess who’s back! The Loose Women return tomorrow at 12.30pm! Here’ a sneak peak of the line-up for the coming week.”

But writing underneath, fans queried why Linda is not among the panelist pictures.
One wrote: “Where is Linda, haven’t seen her in ages?” Another added: “When will Linda come back? Have they replaced Linda now?”
In November, Linda was asked about her future on Loose Women. It came following the news that the ITV lunchtime show would only be airing for 30 weeks throughout the year amid cutbacks.
Linda, who has been a regular panelist since 2012, was asked at the time if she would be returning.
“We have to wait and find out,” she told The Mirror. “My first job was in a fish and chip shop so I might have to go back to the fish and chip shop!”

Linda Robson’s Loose Women future
Linda did in fact return to Loose Women. But she was last on the programme in early February 2026, before it went off air for its extended break on March 6.
There is good news, however. Insiders have said she will be making a comeback at some point, although exactly when is unclear.
A show source tells us: “Linda hasn’t been dropped from the show. She has been taking some time away and hopes to return soon.”
TVGuide has contacted ITV for comment.
Hopefully this means Linda won’t be frying fish any time soon…
