However, Lisa wasn’t very happy that Carla had made this arrangement without checking Jodie’s credentials first. And, perhaps she should’ve done if a new fan theory is anything to go by! Carla didn’t appreciate that the teens were more interested in getting cosy with each other than focusing on the baby. Being told that she was DBS checked and had eight years of experience looking after kids, Carla passed over her niece. When she arrived back home, she was met with a concerned Lisa who didn’t appreciate being kept in the dark about the babysitting plans. She’s pretended to be Harper’s mum at the hospital, also having a mysterious history looking after a girl called Olivia and her sibling before abandoning her. Now, a new Coronation Street fan theory has predicted that Jodie will start to pretend that Connie is her now, and even kidnap her as she forms a connection to her through babysitting. One fan on X wrote: “Of course Jodie was eavesdropping on Lisa & Carla conversation for someone to watch Baby Connie. I bet she’s gonna try and kidnap her eventually.” Another fan agreed: “Jodie doing summat dodgy with Connie… there’s a surprise! Taking bets on her pretending Connie is either Harper or hers!” A third viewer replied: “Pretending it was her baby was my guess.” But, will Jodie kidnap Connie? Should Carla and Lisa be worried? Fans complain of 'too many villains' taking over the Street Latest newcomer Jodie is shaping up to be quite the Corrie villain, but this has prompted fans to complain about the number of baddies currently roaming the cobbles. Another annoyed person contributed: "I feel the same, I commented on another post ‘Can a person just visit without becoming a villain?’ They’ve completely unbalanced the show." A third fan added: "Worst part is that all of the villains have not even been in Corrie for a year. First it was Mick, then Theo, then Carl, it only took February – April for all 3 of them to appear. Then you got Becky, Maggie, maybe Will as a villain or Megan, then Jodie."
