Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ when Jodie’s real link to Emmerdale’s Graham will be revealed

It could be very soon

Coronation Street fans have worked out when Jodie’s link to Graham Foster in Emmerdale will be revealed, and it’s because of the huge schedule shake-up.

At the start of the year, Coronation Street and Emmerdale shocked everyone by airing a one-off crossover between the ITV soaps. Corriedale not only marked the start of a huge soap power hour for 2026, but it also brought many storylines to a close.

However, one Coronation Street storyline that was started during the special episode was Jodie’s arrival into the show. And shockingly, she was tied up in the back of a van that was driven by Emmerdale’s Graham Foster – even though everyone thought he was dead.

Jodie and Graham’s Corriedale link still unknown

For months, fans of both soaps have been waiting for the secret link between Jodie and Graham to be revealed. All we really know, is that Jodie is very shady. And it was Graham’s job to track people down – especially if they were a bad person.

During Corriedale, Graham called someone and told them he was “terminating the contract” after Jodie escaped. And ever since, he hasn’t mentioned it again.

As for Jodie, she came up with a very convincing lie. She told Shona that she was in an abusive relationship, and was tied up in the van after things got very dark between her and her ex-boyfriend. But she had just come from a support group and used someone else’s story.

It’s been clear Jodie is hiding a villainous past. She’s been caught up in numerous schemes since first arriving. But, we’re yet to learn exactly why Graham had her in his van.

However, that may all be about to change.

Fans believe schedule changes hint that the truth is about to come out

In a huge shake-up, both Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been airing surprise Sunday episodes. It was revealed this was to make up for football kicking the soaps off air.

The first Sunday episode has already taken place, with the next one happening in just a few days. However, fans believe the real reason may be because the soaps are about to explain the Jodie and Graham situation, and need the dates to make sense.

Taking to social media, one fan penned: “Okay, so obviously Corrie’s Sunday episodes are also so they don’t fall behind since they’ve said the date for the wedding. But Emmerdale doing it as well makes me think there is going to be a Jodie and Graham scene or reference, which needs to air on the same day at some point soon.”

Another commented: “This is interesting! I actually think you are right. And it sounds like we might be getting answers soon.”

Next week, Graham gets attacked for ending a contract, according to Emmerdale spoilers, so fans are now speculating that is Jodie’s contract. And if it is, answers could be on the way.

A third penned: “Interesting theory for sure. Graham’s about to get attacked for cancelling a contract so maybe that’s something to do with it?”

We have to wait and see exactly what their link is. But fans have been eager for the truth to come out.
