However, she then bumped into the mum of another baby at the hospital and introduced herself as ‘Shona.’ Making out that she was Harper’s mum, Jodie made out that her ‘husband’ David was struggling to remain strong. Harper went in for surgery (Credit: ITV) Harper’s operation in Coronation Street Baby Harper went to hospital for her operation to remove the mass on her neck today, with David and Shona telling their family that they didn’t want them there. However, Nick then started phoning Gail with the risks of the surgery as Jodie suggested that David and Shona could do with some in person support. And, Shona wasn’t best pleased as they took hospital selfies and dished out day old paninis like they were at a picnic. Shona then panicked when she saw the doctors rush into Harper’s operating room, finding out that she had a small bleed. But, fortunately, it wasn’t serious.
