1. Bernie swears she’s no criminal mastermind

Bernie finds herself swapping café aprons for cold cell walls, but she’s not backing down without a fight. When Kit pops by to check on her, she insists she’s been stitched up tighter than a dodgy hemline. According to Bernie, her night with Mal was as innocent as a cup of tea and a biscuit – friendly, harmless, and definitely not worthy of handcuffs.

Under DC Browning’s grilling, Bernie spills everything: the platonic hangout, the sudden switch in Mal’s behaviour, and the creepy attention that followed. She paints a picture of a woman harassed, not a woman with a hidden dark side. But with Mal in a critical condition, the pressure is on. Is Bernie telling the gospel truth, or is there a plot twist waiting in the wings?

2. George’s reputation has never been worse in Coronation Street spoilers

Over at the undertakers, George’s stress levels hit next level. A man named Damien turns up, introducing himself as Mrs Ripley’s son and thanking George for agreeing to handle his mum’s funeral. For a brief moment, it looks like the business might survive the storm.

Annie then rocks up like a bad review come to life. She wastes no time planting doubts, loudly declaring that Shuttleworths can’t be trusted. Damien listens, nods, and promptly pulls the plug, taking his business elsewhere. George watches his reputation crumble faster than a bargain coffin lid, left wondering if his professional life has officially flatlined.

3. David and Shona’s romance is on the rocks

Meanwhile, Jodie is busy stirring the pot – and not in the kitchen. Determined to cause chaos, she quietly sets David up to look like he’s slacking off at home, leaving Shona thinking he’s forgotten all about his chores. The result is a frosty atmosphere you could store frozen peas in.

Feeling sidelined, Shona opens up to Bethany in the café, admitting that her marriage feels more like ships passing in the night. Bethany, never one to let love die quietly, has a plan brewing. Whether it’s romantic revival or total disaster remains to be seen.

4. Steve tries to put the past to bed in Coronation Street spoilers

Elsewhere, Steve tells Cassie he’s done looking backwards. Between his partner and his daughter, he reckons he’s got everything he needs right here, right now. But while Steve is blissfully unaware, Mary is practically vibrating with excitement as she tells Tim that Cassie has a big surprise planned for tomorrow.

Will it bring joy, tears, or absolute carnage?
