Elsewhere, Jodie clashes with Adam over leaving dog poo lying around for all to step in. Here’s everything that’s happening in Coronation Street on Mon, Mar 9. Theo expected more (Credit: ITV) 1. Birthday blues for Theo Birthday bells are ringing for Theo, but the celebrations get off to a shaky start. Todd and Summer belt out a cheery ‘Happy Birthday,’ yet Theo’s face says it all as he unwraps his presents – he’s clearly not impressed. Determined to salvage the day, Theo heads to the Bistro for a birthday lunch and invites Gary and Maria to join him, explaining that Todd’s stuck at work and running late. When Todd finally rushes in, flustered and apologetic, Theo greets him with a frosty glare that could chill the wine list. Lunch continues awkwardly, but things really go downhill when the bill arrives. Theo slides it across the table and insists they cover Gary and Maria’s meal as well. Todd turns pale and later quietly admits to Nick that he’s only got £80 to his name. Not exactly birthday-host material. When he demands Todd fetch a bottle of wine to make up for it, Todd nervously suggests a coffee instead. Bad move. Theo sees red, and the birthday mood well and truly crashes. 2. Jodie’s dog walk drama in Coronation Street spoilers Meanwhile, Jodie’s mischievous streak is still going strong. Adam spots her out walking David the dog and launches into a very serious lecture about responsible dog ownership – specifically the importance of picking up after your pooch. Jodie flashes her sweetest smile, nodding politely while secretly fuming at the telling-off. Lauren wants Ollie to herself (Credit: ITV) 3. Lauren’s jealousy spills over Over at the café, sparks are flying in a very different way. Amy turns heads when she arrives looking glam and announces that she and Ollie are heading out on their first proper date. But the news doesn’t sit well with Lauren, who’s clearly rattled by the development. While serving drinks, Lauren’s nerves get the better of her and she accidentally spills a drink all over Amy.
