Between major sporting events and unexpected last-minute changes, the soap’s schedule is often disrupted by ever-changing world events – but what time is EastEnders on tonight (Thursday, April 30), and is it on BBC iPlayer as normal?

EastEnders is supposed to air from Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30 pm, with each episode also dropping that day at 6am on BBC iPlayer. However, this isn’t always the case, and the soap sometimes has to move as other events take priority.

But when is EastEnders on today? And is it available on BBC iPlayer yet?

When is EastEnders on tonight? And is it streaming on BBC iPlayer yet?

EastEnders is on tonight, Thursday, April 30, at its usual time of 7.30pm on BBC One. The episode will air for half an hour. It has already been released on BBC iPlayer, where each episode usually drops at 6am between Monday and Thursday.

Julie and Phil try to get their heads around what life will look like now Nigel has gone in EastEnders spoilers for today.

Back on the Square, Walford residents reel from the news of his death. While everyone knew it was coming, it doesn’t make it any less sad, and everyone’s devastated.

The residents decide to do something nice for Julie and Phil. As they return to the Square, everyone gathers to welcome them home. Not only that, but they also have plans to celebrate Nigel.

Everyone gathers to show Julie and Phil how much they cared about Nigel, and Walford residents are united in the wake of their loss.

Julie is taken aback by how quickly the community has come together after Nigel’s death. But Phil struggles to keep it together and takes himself home to be alone.

As Phil struggles, Grant and Linda worry about him. As Phil remains lost in his thoughts, his friends and family fear he is going to go back to the dark place he went to last year.

But after making a promise to Nigel that he would be okay, will Phil be able to honour that promise? Or is he about to spiral once again?
