Spoilers: Tom’s manipulation of Belle continues as she starts to question everything

Belle Dingle may have finally escaped abusive husband Tom King’s clutches, but her ordeal is far from over – in Emmerdale spoilers for next week, menacing Tom continues to try and control Belle from afar.

Meanwhile, as Belle attempts to process recent events, she tries to come to terms with her situation as an abuse survivor. Will she realise the extent of the abuse she has suffered?

Tom twists the narrative in Emmerdale spoilers

Belle and Tom’s split seems final, but Tom still has his eye on his wife. As Belle attempts to return to normality, Tom observes from a distance.

As Belle reconciles with Vinny, the pair share a warm chat and a hug. Meanwhile, Tom watches from afar, glowering at the scene unfolding before him.

Later, he tells Nicola how Vinny is clearly making a move on Belle, painting her in a bad light. Unwitting Nicola soon finds herself offering Tom a place to stay at the family home.

Tom puts a plan into motion

Tom tells Belle that, as he’s now staying with Jimmy and Nicola, she might as well move back into their old home… well, with the rent already paid, it would be silly not to.

As Belle falls into his trap, Tom orchestrates the next stage in his plan. As a locksmith changes the locks for Belle, he manages to obtain a secret key for himself.
