Last week saw Moira undergo surgery to remove a dangerous brain tumour. As she went under, touching scenes saw her reunite with late daughter Holly. Meanwhile, in the real world, husband Cain was coping less well – cheating on Moira with his own sister-in-law, Ruby. Between Moira’s successful surgery and Cain’s more successful betrayal, her surgery has been all fans have been talking about over the last week. Unfortunately, there has been another element viewers have picked up on – and it’s one that’s been far more baffling to fans. Namely, how did the doctors manage to perform major brain surgery without damaging a hair on her head? Not give her butterfly stitches and stick a sanitary pad on her head,” laughed one viewer. “Well, look at that. They managed to surgically remove Moira’s brain tumour with cutting a hair on her head. Way to go, Lourdes brain surgeons!” said another. “Don’t folk having any kind of surgery on their heads have part of their hair shaved off?,” asked a third. Cain visited her in the hospital, but she was adamant that she didn’t want to see the kids. She told Cain that seeing glamorous Ruby had knocked her confidence.
