The lies and the let downs just keep coming from Cain lately, especially at a time when his wife needs him the most. It’s coming up to Cain’s birthday and Moira is set on celebrating, despite Matty’s concerns. But someone who is in no mood for a party is the birthday boy himself. After cheating on his wife while she was in brain surgery, Cain is rightfully consumed by guilt. So he again lies to her about his whereabouts and stays away the whole night. Full Emmerdale spoilers for this storyline below. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Emmerdale spoilers: Matty worries as Moira wants to throw a party for Cain (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale spoilers: Cain lets Moira down again Moira has her pathology results appointment and understandably wants Cain by her side, so when she realises she has no idea where he is, she postpones them. However, time is ticking and she can’t keep putting it off, so after a final attempt at getting through to Cain, Moira heads to her appointment alone. Cain, however, was trying to get back to Moira when he found himself blocked in a parking spot, thanks to Jai. When he finally gets out, he’s in a rush. And in an unfortunate timing, he is stopped by PC Swirling. In true Cain fashion, he doesn’t handle the situation well, and his angry approach leads to him being arrested. Cain gets arrested while trying to get to Moira’s appointment (Credit: ITV) Swirling allows the Dingle to have a phone call with Moira, where she is completely thrown to hear he’s at the police station. While she eases his worries by telling him her results were fine, she admits to Matty that she will need to go through radiotherapy. Swirling lets Cain off with a warning and while he should head straight home to Moira, he doesn’t. Instead Liam later finds a drunk Cain in the allotment. Trying to do the right thing, he drops him back home to Moira. But when Moira is evidently angry at Cain’s behaviour, will Cain’s guilt get even worse?
