This came as the soap revealed what had become of the teenager during the four weeks of her disappearance. As she took to the streets of Leeds, April found herself lost and with nowhere to turn – falling in with a group of homeless youths. It was then that viewers learned April was pregnant. And, as her situation went from bad to worse, April suffered a stillbirth in a nearby gym. She then passed out on a park bench, which is where she was found and subsequently rushed to the hospital. Amid this very special episode, viewers had nothing but praise for its young star.
