In a huge twist, Leyla’s funeral episode aired a special voiceover, with Leyla narrating her own send-off. With Leyla making sure that she was the star of the show in life and death, fans reckon these scenes have confirmed that her death was an extremely bad decision. Proving that she was the heart and soul of the village, intertwined in everyone’s lives until the very end, she caught Tracy pocketing money from the shop. They thought the soap’s decision to kill off the long-running character was a bad decision. And now, with Leyla having one last moment to shine in her (and, oh sorry, Amy’s) funeral episode, fans reckon these scenes have cemented the decision to kill off Leyla being a massive mistake. They think that Leyla being alive to spill all of the secrets would’ve been much more enjoyable.
