Things go badly for Chas after the drama last night (Credit: ITV) Engagement party drama aftermath During Tuesday’s episode, John suggested to Aaron that they should throw an engagement party for his mum Chas and Liam in order to get her on side. While everyone was enjoying the party in the Woolpack, Ella accidentally interrupted proceedings much to Chas’s disgust. While Aaron immediately said yes, Aaron’s mum Chas didn’t seem so thrilled. John later overheard her telling Aaron that she didn’t want him to make a mistake or marry John just because he thinks he owes him something. Instead of focusing on his engagement to Aaron, John is still hung up on Chas’ reaction. Victoria encourages him to play the long game to win her round. Will John manage to get Chas onside?
