So what time is is on, is it available on ITVX and what is happening? Between football, rugby and other special shows, ITV tends to shift the soap schedule round to accommodate them. Graham promised to keep Cain’s secrets (Credit: ITV) What time is Emmerdale on tonight? On Monday, February 23 Emmerdale will be on in its usual time slot of 8pm. Coronation Street, which usually follows at 8.30pm, is also on as normal. Both soaps are already available on ITVX and YouTube, where they are released every day at 7am. A few weeks ago, there were huge changes to the ITV soaps because of rugby and football. Joe knows Cain stole his car – but he can’t prove it. So, he sets Graham to retrieve it from the farm. But while he is there, Graham spots Cain’s cancer letter, and is left with a decision to make. Instead of telling Joe the truth, he lies about where he found the car, and keeps Cain’s secrets. But the pair later have a chat, with Graham encouraging him to tell his family. However, just as they were shaking hands at their new-found friendship, Kim spotted them. And immediately assumes they were in cahoots.Don't miss a single story! Despite some concerns that it meant the soap was in trouble, coupled with lots of cast exits, it has been revealed that actually it was a great move by ITV as stats revealed viewing was way up. The soap then announced a new schedule. The soap ‘power hour’ starting from January 2026 sees Emmerdale continue to air five nights a week. New episodes will also drop on ITVX every morning at 7am as usual. However, the soap has moved to a new time slot of 8pm. The Thursday double bill will also be cut to half an hour to make way for additional episodes of Coronation Street. This ensures faster-paced, digestible episodes – a 30-minute format which has already proven popular with viewers.
