Pollard gets his hopes up of a reconciliation with former fiancée Brenda
In Emmerdale spoilers, Pollard gets his hopes up for a romantic reunion with Brenda after Jimmy plants the idea in his head. But how will Brenda tell him that ship has sailed and she’s off on a cruise instead?
Pollard is missing Brenda in Emmerdale spoilers
Brenda was the best thing to happen to Pollard since he lost his late wife Val. The couple were engaged and looking forward to their future together, that was until Eric went and totally messed things up.
He foolishly invested Brenda’s entire life savings into a crypto currency scam, then lost the lot. Instead of owning up, Eric took a loan out against the house and stole money from the shop to bet on the horses. When Brenda found out what he’d done she was heartbroken by the betrayal. With the trust gone, she broke up with Pollard, and he’s been missing her ever since.
It’s been a tough start to the year for Brenda, but her fortunes could be set to change. Brenda has just discovered she’s won two tickets for an exotic cruise. Will she decide to leave the village, and Eric, behind?
Nicola has her eyes on the prize
Greedy Nicola King has heard all about Brenda’s win and is eyeing up the tickets for her and Jimmy.
She’s forced to change tactic when Brenda announces she’s decided to go on the cruise alone. So Nicola ditches Jimmy and starts a campaign to get herself on board as Brenda’s plus one. The crafty King offers her support to Brenda and promises they’ll have a wonderful time together.
Jimmy is really put out when he realises what Nicola is up to. But has Brenda got a plan of her own?
Pollard gets the wrong impression from Brenda in Emmerdale spoilers
Wanting to put a stop to Nicola’s meddling, Jimmy tries to engineer a romantic reunion between Brenda and Pollard. He approaches the village veteran and tells him there might still be a chance for him and his lost love.
Next day, Brenda sees Pollard in The Woolpack. She tries to talk to him about the cruise, but he thinks she wants them to get back together.
Their conversation leaves Pollard feeling optimistic for the future. But are his hopes about to be dashed when Brenda reveals she’s off to sail around the world?
