Emmerdale's Amy Walsh, Nate

Emmerdale fans know that Nate Robinson’s death was revealed during the limo lake crash as Amy Barton found his body.

However, the body has been tragically bobbing around in the lake without being pulled out by anyone. The only person who knew about it was Amy – but she’s now dead.

Now though, actress Amy Walsh has revealed that Nate’s body will be found in the not too distant future. Finally!

Nate Robinson’s death in Emmerdale

Around the time of the barn fire last year, Nate decided to take a new job in Shetland and headed off after a conversation with John.

He didn’t say a proper goodbye to his family, and simply left, leaving a text message to tell Tracy not to contact him until he’s ready.

This year, during the limo lake crash, Amy Barton fell through the ice and started to drown. She then saw Nate’s body in the water before being pulled out by Tracy.

At the hospital, Amy tried to tell Matty about Nate but died before he figured out what she had been saying.

Ever since then, Nate’s body has remained in the water without being pulled out. The villagers have no idea that he’s dead and never actually made it to Shetland. How tragic.

Amy Walsh teases when Tracy will find out about Nate death

With fans wondering if Nate’s body will ever be pulled out of the water, actress Amy Walsh has now teased that Tracy will find out that Nate is dead in the coming months.

She’s just started filming the scenes where Tracy finds out, meaning that the scenes could air on-screen around six weeks from now.

Speaking to the Metro, Amy shared: “I think it’s going to be so exciting! I’ve just started the beginning of that story when she finds out. It’s brilliant. I love that the audience knows but she doesn’t and they’re just waiting for this pay-off and for her to find out who’s done it.

“It’s been a long time coming. All this feeling she’s had that he’s treated her badly, and finally poor Nate gets his justice. It’s such a journey for Tracy to take. I’m really excited.

She added: “I’ve just had some new scripts through and it’s really juicy stuff for me. I’ve not had anything that big for a while. It’s partly daunting because you’re going to be working a lot more, which I love, but juggling that with home life is a challenge.”
