Emmerdale spoilers: John reacts badly to Aaron’s wedding plans as Victoria decides to interfere
John fears he’s losing control in his relationship with Aaron
In Emmerdale spoilers for this week, Aaron is left feeling rejected by John after he unveils his plans for their wedding. Taking pity on her brother, Victoria comes up with a plan she hopes will put a smile back on John’s face. But will her interference cause even more trouble?
John is giving Aaron mixed signals in Emmerdale spoilers
No one really knows what’s going on with John Sugden. We have our suspicions that he’s a wrong’un, but they’re yet to be proven.
What is clear though is that John is obsessed with Aaron. Their romance may have moved fast, but everything is where John wants it to be. Aaron has agreed to marry him and he’s even managed to get Chas on side. But Aaron is about to throw a spanner in the works.
The mechanic comes up with the idea of using Chas’s bookings for their wedding, and John is less than enthusiastic. He’s annoyed that Aaron would make any kind of arrangements without consulting him first and storms off. Aaron is left feeling confused by his man’s hot and cold behaviour and wondering where they go from here.
John carries on controlling Aaron
Next day, John apologises to Aaron for his complete overreaction to his wedding idea.
They sit down for an honest chat and Aaron is surprised when John starts openly discussing his faults. The medic is in a reflective mood as he opens up about the mistakes he’s made in the past. John tells Aaron he has issues with control, particularly in relationships.
Oblivious to all the things John has done to keep him close, Aaron reassures him it’s okay. The couple kiss and make up, but then the atmosphere turns awkward again when Aaron asks John who he’ll be inviting to their big day.
John doesn’t like being being put on the spot. When Aaron pushes him further, John explains he doesn’t have many friends or family. But will Aaron buy this?
Victoria plans a surprise for John in Emmerdale spoilers
Later, Aaron fills Victoria in on what John said about his lack of loved ones.
She takes pity on her big brother and takes it upon herself to try and reach out to people from John’s past. Without telling him first (not a wise move), Vic hatches a plan to invite some of John’s old army mates to his stag do.
John has always been very secretive about his time on the forces. He opened up about his involvement with the mysterious Aidan Moore, but is Vic about to discover there are other skeletons lurking in his closet?
