In next week’s Emmerdale spoilers Joe starts blackmailing Clemmie after the youngster rumbles his affair with Dawn. The ruthless Tate is determined to do whatever it takes to hold onto the woman he loves. Even if that means tormenting a vulnerable child.
Joe and Dawn are busted in Emmerdale spoilers
Dawn may have called time on their marriage, but Billy is still hoping he can win her back. What he doesn’t know, of course, is that his wife has been having an affair with Joe Tate right under his nose.
As the week begins, it seems there’s no going back for the Fletchers when Dawn suggests it’s time Billy moved out of the estate’s holiday cottage which Kim loaned him. Billy is gutted, but Dawn knows with him gone this limits the chances of her and Joe being found out. Dawn has already warned Joe that Billy could murder him if he discovered the truth.
Later, thinking they’re alone, Dawn and Joe share a kiss. But this time the cheating pair are caught out when Dawn’s daughter Clemmie spies their passionate clinch. Clemmie is horrified by what she sees, but decides to keep it to herself. For now…
Joe manipulates Clemmie
Clemmie refuses to return to school and feigns illness, as Dawn remains unaware of what’s upsetting her.
Joe decides to check in on Clemmie, but is stunned when she reveals that she saw him kissing her mum. Thrown into panic, he desperately tries to placate the situation, but it’s no use. Clemmie blames Joe for breaking up her family and understandably wants nothing to do with him.
As she walks out of the room at Home Farm, Joe tries to hold her back. But Clemmie bites back – literally – and sinks her teeth into Joe’s arm. That’ll serve him right!
Joe tells Clemmie a wicked lie in Emmerdale spoilers
Fearing he hasn’t got long before Clemmie spills the beans to Billy, shameless Joe resorts to bribery.
He offers Clemmie a lavish gift in return for her silence, and she accepts. However, it soon seems Clemmie has had a change of heart when Joe finds her dismantling the present. He’s furious and threatens to tell Dawn about her biting him. And here comes the really nasty part – Joe warns Clemmie she’ll be sent into care if the truth comes out.
The thought of being taken away reduces Clemmie to tears, but Joe shows no mercy. He stands firm, ensuring Clemmie keeps quiet about him and Dawn.
Has Joe done enough to keep a lid on his sordid secret? Or will he live to regret his cruelty towards Clemmie?
