He’s nervous and afraid and he knows his testimony could make or break the case. It’s not just his neck on the line, what he says will affect Paddy and Dylan too. But can he cope? All eyes on Bear After Simo blew the case for the defence in court on Monday, May 4 solicitor Zara felt they had only one option left: let Bear testify. He has previously made it clear he doesn’t want to go in the witness box as he can’t control himself when under pressure from questioning. He’d already proven that in the police interview room, but Paddy reluctantly agreed with Zara it was the only choice they could make now. It comes after Simo got angry on the stand and revealed Bear was Ray’s favourite who got lots of special privileges. Simo was very clear he had been a victim but Bear had not. Although everyone thought Simo would save the day, the grudge seriously hurt Bear’s chances. The family watch on, encouragingly and trying to communicate how much they are supporting him. But it’s clear he’s totally out of his comfort zone.
