Paddy, Bear and Dylan face the jury as they go on trial

What fate awaits Dylan, Paddy and Bear?

In Emmerdale spoilers for Mon, May 4 it’s the day of the trial. Paddy, Bear and Dylan are facing a judge and jury in court and have no idea how it’s going to go.

April is first to testify and she is worried she will mess it up. Dylan and Simo also take to the stand, but will they make things better or worse?

And how will Bear cope reliving his trauma in court?

Here are four Emmerdale spoilers for Mon, May 4.

1. The trial day dawns

Paddy, Bear and Dylan are due in court. Things are tense as Paddy and Dylan get ready, unsure what fate awaits them.

The two share an emotional moment before heading off to face the day ahead.

In court the defence and prosecution barristers argue their cases. It’s overwhelming for Bear as he is forced to relive Ray’s death and what he went through at the farm. The prosecution definitely sounds persuasive, and he starts to worry as it doesn’t look to be going his way.

2. April panics in Emmerdale spoilers

April is a nervous wreck as she prepares t0 give evidence. Marlon encourages his daughter to be brave and tell the jurors exactly what Ray put her through and all the abuse she suffered at his hands.

She struggles under cross examination and is devastated, sure she’s messed things up. Distraught in the corridor afterwareds, Marlon assures her she was brave and honest and she did the best she could. But has she made things worse?

3. Dylan and Simo take to the stand

Dylan is next up. He is testifying for the defence and he tells the truth about how Bear saved his and Paddy’s lives from Ray. However cross-examination is tough, can he cope with it?

Simo is next in the witness box. But his testimony causes Bear to spiral…

4. It all rests on Bear in Emmerdale spoilers

Court adjourns for the day and Zara explains where they are at to Paddy. She says they are left with no other choice than to put Bear himself on the stand the next day.

Paddy is reluctant but forced to agree. Can Bear take the pressure though? Or will this break him – and their defence case?
