What started out as a brilliantly powerful tale of modern slavery that really touched us and made us think, has gone on far too long and has once again seen the victim become the villain. It feels like all the focus has been on this storyline lately and we are now really looking forward to others getting some screen time at long last. Here’s what’s coming up in Emmerdale storylines that we can’t wait for. It’s time for Joe to pay (Credit: ITV) 1. Joe gets his comeuppance We’ve had to wait a REALLY long time for this (no, we don’t count getting pushed out of a window and being up and walking days later comeuppance). article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Joe did went too far when he stole Caleb’s kidney. Then he went too far when he set up Moira to go to prison. And THEN he went too far when he destroyed Holly’s memorial tree. In fact there are so many times he has gone too far it’s beyond a joke now. But Moira, Cain and Dawn have teamed up to hit him where it hurts: his wallet and his heart. As he happily plans for his marriage to Dawn and their baby together, she is plotting to take him for everything and leave with the kid.Don't miss a single story! It is juicy and justice will taste so sweet when it comes. We’re here for it. The Dingle Farm legacy begins (Credit: ITV) 2. Dingle farm flourishing The soap has set us up with the new Dingle farm, but apart from trying to repair a tractor very little has actually happened. Let’s get this show on the road guys! Give us more of than farming, give us Ross running around after sheep with his little red spade (if you know, you know) and give us a break from all the misery. Can Jacob prove his innocence? (Credit: ITV) 3. The end of the Dr Todd storyline in Emmerdale Another storyline in danger of dragging on too long is Dr Todd bullying Jacob. Fortunately he finally comes clean to Sarah next week and they vow to take her on together. While we presume there will be more twists in the tale yet, especially given Todd’s file of evidence against Jacob, pushing this storyline to its end is the right thing to do now before we lose interest. Belle and Kammy are once again enjoying each other’s company in Emmerdale spoilers (Credit: ITV) 4. More Belle and Kammy storyline in Emmerdale The couple recently got back together, but we haven’t seen much of them. They are so sweet together – their Sonny and Cher duet was everything. So let us see their happiness, at least for a bit. And while they’re at it, what about this promised Kammy back story? It’s time we found out more about him. As much Ross as we can get please (Credit: ITV) 5. More Ross The Charity/Ross/Sarah/Jacob baby saga has taken a bit of a back seat this year. We know she has given birth to a daughter with Ross, but is pretending it’s the surrogate baby she carried for Sarah and Jacob. And we know Ross is struggling with it. What do we want here? Ross to be a girl dad, of course! It’s the perfect storyline for him. And with former love Steph reportedly not coming back, it’s just what he needs to keep us all laughing. Yes, Kev is back! (Credit: ITV) 6. Kev’s return storyline in Emmerdale We’re laughing just from the promo picture, to be honest. Kev coming back is music to our ears anyway, but we’re so ready for the light relief he will bring. His new food truck, his relationship with Lewis, his banter with Claudette; bring it on. What’s he up to? (Credit: ITV) 7. Finding out Graham’s game He’s tried to kill Kim. He’s definitely working with someone. Is it Sadie King? What’s he really up to? We need answers.
