Viewers might remember that Gabby made herself ill and was taken to hospital last year. She’d been on a crash diet and fitness regime, trying to fit into her dress. She’s also recently become interested in introducing a plant-based menu to The Hide. And, she’s had her confidence rather knocked back after rejections from Vinny, and now Ross. Speaking to the Sun at the recent TRIC awards, she shared: “This is Gabby’s story and, like I said, something that’s never ever been touched on in soap before. “It’s so relevant today with social media and everything that’s going on.” She then added: “I think people that don’t even watch soaps normally are going to want to tune in because it’s so unique and really going to hit home for a lot of viewers.” It’s not yet been revealed how far Gabby will take her food obsession, but it’s set to be a difficult yet important watch.
