Coronation Street and Emmerdale Crossover Graham Foster Share Add as preferred source on Google Add as preferred source on Google By Carena Crawford 23 Apr 2026, 20:04 By Carena Crawford 23 Apr 2026, 20:04 More breadcrumbs have been left in the trail leading us to the connection between Graham Foster in Emmerdale and Jodie Ramsey in Coronation Street. Despite us having been given a brief explanation earlier this month, it was somewhat disappointing and we were left thinking there must be more to it. Although Emmerdale has not referred to the subject again, Coronation Street did air a Jodie confession on Thursday, April 23 that could hint at what really went on between her and Graham. How does Graham know Jodie? (Credit: ITV) Graham in Emmerdale and Jodie in Corrie When Graham appeared alive and well in Corriedale on Monday January 5 he had an unknown woman tied up in his van. During the crash, his van got caught up in the aftermath. Graham was then distracted after seeing Joe Tate and the woman escaped. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers He was next seen at the hospital explaining to someone on the phone that she had got away. He terminated the contract. We now know that woman was Jodie, the sister of Coronation Street’s Shona Platt. But we have absolutely no idea how she and Graham are connected. Earlier this month, Rhona found Graham bloodied and bruised at the stables at Home Farm. He explained that when he came back to Emmerdale he was working for a gang to get rid of “a problem” for them.Don't miss a single story! This was his “punishment” for letting her escape. Shona was horrified by Jodie’s confession tonight (Credit: ITV) Jodie hints at Graham connection in Corrie In Coronation Street airing on Thursday April 23, Jodie perhaps shed more light on the matter. She had already told sister Shona that she was escaping from an abusive relationship. However, we know that story was stolen from a woman at a domestic violence support group. Now, Jodie has confessed the girl who has recently turned up looking for her, Olivia, is the daughter of her abusive ex. Jodie claimed she was caught trying to escape with the hard drive and was bundled in the back of a van. So does this lend weight to Graham being the abusive ex? Is Olivia his daughter? Or is Jodie lying again? Was Graham just hired by the dad? And if so, why have Emmerdale and Corrie come up with such a boring explanation?! Why did Graham have Jodie tied up? (Credit: ITV) Fans excited Fans certainly seem to think we are getting somewhere at last! “So, Olivia’s criminal dad is likely the guy who hired Graham to ‘retrieve’ Jodie after she’d stolen an incriminating hard drive and how she ended up bound and gagged in the back of Graham’s van…we’re slowly getting there!” declared one viewer on social media. Another surmised: “Also the two guys in the car who work for the girl’s dad must have been the ones who beat the [bleep] off of Graham.” “So is that youngster Jodie just threatened Graham from Emmerdale’s daughter?” queried another. Fingers crossed we don’t have to wait much longer to find all of this out! Theories on the conection between Graham and Jodie Emmerdale fans certainly have their theories on the link between Graham and Jodie... Is Graham in Emmerdale Jodie's dad in Corrie? Fans are convinved he is actually her dad, with one saying: "I'm wondering if Graham from Emmerdale is the father of Shona and Jodie from Corrie!" "OMG Graham is Shona and Jodie's dad," declared a second. A third added: "It's gonna turn out that Shona and Jodie are Graham from Emmerdale's daughters, isn’t it?" But that begs the questions, why would he have tied her up in the back of a van? For some that fits with the abusive partner theory. Abusive partner Jodie has fed Shona a tale that she has an abusive ex-partner that she was able to escape from on the night of the crash. We know she stole that story from someone at a domestic abuse support group, but could Graham be her ex? "I said about week ago Graham may have been an ex or partner of Jodie," said one. "So Jodie's abusive ex is maybe Graham?" queried another. However someone else pointed out: "Graham's not like that. Unless he does it for a woman's safety - as in they're a danger to themselves, that sort of thing." So could it all tie in to who Graham was working for? "Was Jodie and Graham working for Ray and Celia?" asked a fan. "I think Graham was in business with Celia, bringing new 'recruits' such as Jodie, in the van," agreed another. "A brill twist would be if Graham turns out to have been Celia's muscle, retrieving runaway slaves. Literally no one believes Celia and Ray ran the whole racket by themselves," added a third. Graham and Sadie King connected to Jodie in Emmerdale? Fans have long been speculating what they think has really gone on. And, in lieu of a proper explanation, have come up with some theories of their own. The latest of these involves rumoured returnee Sadie King. It was reported in April that Patsy Kensit is reprising her role as villainious Sadie after 20 years. But is she the connection that brings Jodie and Graham together? "Come on Graham you cannot stop there, tell us the Jodie story, could it be related to Sadie's return," mused one fan on social media. A second agreed: "Wonder if Jodie is connected to Sadie King somehow! Crossed her in a past life? Because so far she [Jodie] has been pretty pointless!" "Sadie definitely has something to do with Graham," added one more. Read more: Who’s leaving Emmerdale?
