Emmerdale tonight saw Joe Tate receive somewhat of a comeuppance by Shaun, but there was also drama to be seen in other areas of the village.

Vinny’s talk with Kammy in Emmerdale tonight

Gabby was excited for her upcoming engagement party and was overjoyed to learn that she’d lost not one, not two, but three pounds in a day.

With Kammy in the room, Gabby Thomas asked Kammy to check her car out at the garage. The problem was that Vinny had to drop it off.

While at the garage, Kammy then started asking Vinny whether marrying Gabby was what he actually wanted.

When discussing Liv and their former relationship, Vinny called Liv the ‘love of his life’ but had no idea that Laurel was listening into his conversation… Awkward.

The Sugdens are back in Emmerdale tonight

Also tonight, Robert sat down with Vic and delighted her with news over buying Annie’s field. However, he kept his plan for it a secret.

Vic was thrilled he was rebuilding his life back in the village (and so were we).

As Robert said ‘the Sugdens are back’ (well not all of them, unless Andy is hiding in a corner ready to make himself known).

He then spoke to Ross about the missing weed and warned him to leave him alone. Nobody messes with a Sugden.

Elsewhere in the village, the drama continued

Also, Sarah Sugden helped Cain Dingle design a poster for Nate Robinson’s memorial. He was really impressed with her skills but she assured him it was just ‘basic’ stuff she put together. Okay, technology whizz.

Inside though, she was struggling after returning back to the village following her surgery, especially after bumping into Rhona with Ivy and realising she might never be able to have a child of her own.
