There was a big focus on John and Aaron in Emmerdale tonight, but Mack didn’t escape focus as his disappearance continued to confuse Charity.

John grew concerned as Chas encouraged Charity to call the police about Mack being missing.

Mack refused to record a voice message

John grew concerned when Chas suggested to Charity that she call the police as Mack hasn’t been seen for two weeks.

He promptly returned to the bunker where he is holding Mack. John fixed Mack’s loose stitch and told him he is lucky that he is being looked after.

John then tried to force Mack into recording a message for Charity saying he wasn’t coming back. But Mack refused to do it.

Charity was devastated over Mack’s announcement in Emmerdale tonight

John decided he didn’t need Mack and took matters into his own hands. Using Mack’s old voice notes on his phone along with AI, John was able to put a convincing message together.

“I’m not coming back Charity, there’s nothing for me there,” the AI Mack said, adding: “Stay safe and be well.”

When Charity received the message, she was understandably heartbroken and didn’t suspect the message might be fake.

John spoke to Paddy again in Emmerdale tonight

After feeling angry about Aaron’s betrayal, John immediately messaged the support forum and demanded to talk to someone.
