Heartbreak for Charity and Sarah in Emmerdale tonight was also accompanied by heartbreak for Steph and a confession from Vinny.

Ross really messed up in Emmerdale tonight

Caleb gave Ross the talk about not messing it up with Steph and looking after her. Ross promised he cared about her too much to hurt her.

But later, Ruby and Lewis settled down to lunch with none other than Manpreet – so it looked like Ross was about to break him promise sooner rather than later.

Lewis offered to matchmake Manpreet, given his good luck with Steph and Ross. But then Manpreet spilled the beans about her and Ross – just as (conveniently!) Ross and Steph walked in.

Steph was furious and said there was no way she could trust Ross after he lied. He begged for another chance, but Caleb and Ruby closed ranks and told him to leave.

Vinny confessed

Vinny was helping Aaron build flat pack furniture, which he was struggling with! But Aaron could see Vinny was not enthusiastic about his wedding planning.

Aaron opened up to Vinny about feeling guilty over Robert lashing out – he confessed he had given Robert hope by kissing him on his wedding day. Vinny’s reaction told Aaron he was also hiding something.

Vinny confessed he had tried to kiss someone else – but not that it was another man. Aaron advised him if he was really serious about Gabby and sure she was the one, he needed to forget the kiss and keep quiet. But Vinny clearly felt uncomfortable with that…

Dylan felt awful in Emmerdale tonight

Moira approached Dylan and made him – and Marlon and April – feel awful as she commended him for sticking with the rehab.

Later, Marlon spotted April and Dylan holding hands and realised they were together. Will he react like a grown-up to this turn of events?
