Elsewhere in Emmerdale’s hour-long episode, Ray manipulated April into becoming a full-time dealer for him.

Meanwhile, Manpreet caught Liam doing a wee in the sink in his consulting room – when you gotta go, you gotta go.

Read on for our full recap of Emmerdale tonight.

Ray manipulated April

At the Hide, April demanded to know how much her debt was. Ray pretended to look it up and then told her: “1,708 quid and 40p.” He said he’ll let her off with the 40p before suggesting there were ways for her to make more money.

He then pretended to change his mind, claiming April isn’t experienced enough to step up. But she walked right into the trap and insisted she could do it, also adding that she was “desperate”.

Ray took April to a carpark and shared that he wanted someone to deal. April was apprehensive about the idea, but Ray reassured her that “it’s not all crack dens,” and told her his customers are “normal people like you and me”.

April became a dealer

After making April feel guilty about her debt, she agreed to give the dealing a go. But then two lads appeared – one had been beaten up badly. Ray put on his caring act, telling them he can only protect them so far and told the injured boy to call him next time he is in trouble.

Ray then told April that the guy had tried to screw the bosses over, but said she’d be fine as she wouldn’t be so stupid to try that. April was then ent off on a trial run.

While she was gone, the 2 boys from before returned and Ray paid them for their earlier performance. April then returned and was told she’d passed the test and taken to it “like a duck to water”. Ray gave April a burner phone and congratulated her on the step up.

Dylan was also manipulated by Ray

Dylan got frustrated when he struggled with studying for his theory test. He bit the heads off both Lewis and Paddy when they tried to help him.

Later Paddy spoke to Dylan and told him not to worry if it takes him longer to learn things. He also told Dylan that his own dad hadn’t learnt to read until he was in his 70s. Paddy then treated Dylan to lunch, with the two bonding further.

However, later, Dylan met up with Ray again, who was full of praise for Dylan. Ray gifted Dylan some new trainers along with a wad of cash, telling him it was important to enjoy life sometimes.

Manpreet caught out Liam

Liam and Manpreet were stressed after discovering lots of sedatives missing due to John taking them. “He was using our drugs on his victims,” Liam pointed out, which makes them culpable. Manpreet.

Claudette then told John that that isn’t the only thing he has been burying his head in the sand about. However, the head was soon removed from the sand when Manpreet walked in on Liam doing a wee in the sink in his consulting room.

Liam then confided in Manpreet, who was quick to ask if he had a family history of prostate cancer. Liam accepted that he needed to have a test and also shared his fears with partner Chas.

Charity and Ross took a paternity test

Chas was suspicious when she saw Charity and Ross together, but Charity waved off her concerns, though the guilt was written on her face.

Later, when Charity arrived home, she felt even more guilty as Mack made it clear he is on board with the surrogacy plan now. He even joked that he and Charity will be the best looking great grandparents in the village.

In the pub, a worried Charity told Ross the results will take 3 to 10 days.
